We strive to provide you with excellent pet care in a friendly environment. Our staff constantly engage in ongoing veterinary study and training beyond their initial qualifications and we regularly update our practice with new innovative equipment.

Heartwarming story of survival! 💪

This tawny frogmouth was sadly suffering from suspected rodenticide poisoning..

He was very weak and emaciated and could barely hold himself up.

Thanks to the dedication and care from the team at the new Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital, he made a full recovery and was released back into the wild. 💚

Meet the Southern Boobook 🦉

This is Australia's smallest and most common owl, also known as a Mopoke. It's found right throughout mainland Australia and Tasmania, and on some coastal islands too.

With its distinctively musical call 'boo-book', you'd usually hear the Southern Boobook before you see it. Here it is beautifully captured in its quiet majesty on one of our central Victorian reserves on Dja Dja Wurrung Country.

Elephants are wonderfully demonstrative with their emotions. In the wild, they show affection through trunk hugs and body contact. For our orphans, an ‘elephant hug’ means the same thing — I love you!
