Pawdon me? What do mew mean it's already spring!? 🤔💭
Though we can believe it... the warm air is between our paws and the light breeze on our whiskers 😸🌻🌞
Spring can be the purrfect time for cats: not too hot nor too cold most days, more sun beams to bask in, and lots of bird-watching to be done 🐦✔️
But there are still some measures to take to keep your kitty residents safe and sound this springtime...
🌷 Ensure any flowers you allow in your home are cat-friendly (you can check our cat-friendly flowers list here: https://tinyurl.com/ye24w8a2)
🌷 If your cat is allowed outside, keep a keen eye on them as the warmer weather may encourage roaming. Cat enclosures or catios are a great solution, and we particularly love our friends at catnets.com.au – check out their range of products to suit backyards, balconies, patios, and more!
🌷 Keep their food and water bowls out of direct sunlight and make sure you top up or change their water daily and clean out their food bowls, too.
🌷 Have plenty of water available for your cat in different places in the house. Water fountains can also encourage them to drink more and stay hydrated in warmer weather.
🌷 Keep up to date with flea, tick, and worming preventatives. Need a restock or advice about the best choice for your cat? Visit us in Newtown or Marrickville:
