The Snuggle Bug Hoods are retiring — at least for now.

These hoods have been one of our most loved products, and honestly, letting them go hasn’t been an easy call. But for the time being, once the last ones are gone, they’re gone.

Right now we have Galloway and Cob sizes left, marked down while stock lasts. If your horse has been in one of these and you’ve loved it, this is your chance to grab a spare. And if you’ve always meant to try one — this is probably your last opportunity.

We won’t rule out bringing them back one day if the demand is there. But we can’t make any promises right now.

If you’ve never used a skinny hood before, here’s the short version of why they’re worth it.

They lay the coat down smooth, protect the mane from heavy rugs rubbing it thin, keep biting insects off, and block UV — all while being lightweight enough that your horse barely notices they’re wearing one.

Ours are made from premium 4-way stretch Lycra with a pattern we developed ourselves, so the fit is actually shaped to a horse rather than just stretched over one. Available as a pull-on, ¾ zip or full zip, with optional ear add-ons if you need extra coverage.

If you’ve tried other brands and been disappointed, we’d love you to try ours. We think you’ll notice the difference straight away.

As a grey mare owner, tail bags are a god send. The buggez bugeyes ones are the only ones I have bought that stay in and last. I love the reinforced ties/velcro on both designs and the waterproof ones for my mare.
Had my last set for over a year, through a very wet winter and they’re still going strong, had to get some fresh ones for a top up, won’t buy anywhere else anymore 🙌🏼

Lays the coat down smooth. Protects the mane from a heavy winter rug rubbing it thin. Keeps biting insects off. Blocks UV. And because ours is shaped with a horse’s actual anatomy in mind — it fits properly without sitting crooked or rubbing behind the ears.
Our unique skinny hood pattern also features large eye holes, reinforced ear holes and a belly band with velcro closure for optimal comfort for your horse.
