New puppy at home? 🐶
The early months are the best time to gently introduce them to grooming — both at home and professionally.

Why it matters:
● Helps them grow into calm, cooperative adults at the salon
● Reduces fear and anxiety around handling, brushing, bathing & nail trims
● Prevents small issues (matts, overgrown nails) from becoming big problems

Start gently introducing the brush and the sound of the dryer once they’ve settled in (ideally, their breeder already started this before they left).
Always stop while they’re still relaxed — never force it. (Stopping because they fight the process actually rewards the bad behaviour)

Quick at-home tips:
● Keep sessions short (1–3 minutes) and fun
● Gently handle paws, ears & mouth daily — reward with treats and praise

A gentle, professional puppy groom is also a fantastic way to build positive associations early. The goal is calm confidence, not perfection.
