Meet Ella:
Maxitreats are proud to announce change of ownership to Ella cleary.
Ella Cleary is a gold coast-based pet entrepreneur whose career has grown from a lifelong love of animals into a portfolio of dog-focused businesses spanning fashion, treats, and care.
Early life and passion for animals
Ella’s connection with animals began in early childhood. As a toddler, her closest companion was Benny, a Cocker Spaniel, and the two quickly became inseparable. That early bond set the direction for her life: Ella always wanted to work with animals, and she has consistently followed that passion into her professional choices.
Entrepreneurial path: fashion, treats, and pet care
Ella turned her love of dogs into business ventures starting in 2020, when she launched Rosey Pup Co, a handmade fashion label for dogs. Building on that momentum, she co-founded Maxitreats Pet Treats with her father, Brett, and stepmother, Pam, creating a range of natural, Australian-made pet treats and supplies.
Alongside the product businesses, Ella started Sunny Snoots, a dog-walking and pet-sitting service. The service gained strong traction locally, and its success led Ella to focus more of her energy on the hands-on dog-care side of her work.
Current focus and leadership at Maxitreats
With Brett and Pam’s retirement, Ella has taken full ownership and operational responsibility for the Maxitreats pet-treats business. In this role, she oversees product, customer engagement, and market presence for the brand, which is known for 100% natural treats with no fillers or additives and an active presence at Gold Coast and Brisbane markets.
