We are a small animal clinic, who offer our services to a wide range of species including dogs/cats

Blue Lake Vet Clinic has been owned by Dr Caroline Weston, Head Veterinarian and Julie Taylor, Head Veterinary Nurse, since 2012. We were lucky to move to our brand new building at 26 Ferrers Street, Mount Gambier in 2017 and have been making good use of our state of the art facility.

The clinic is home to a couple of permanent residents, You will often be greeted on the phone by our two resid

ent budgies, chirping in the background, Percy and Peter.

Lucille our clinic cat is famous across Mount Gambier, and is often sitting at reception or in warmer weather sunning herself on the veranda. Please follow her on instagram for updates on what she is up to at the clinic.

Our team of experienced Veterinarians bring over 50 years of combined experience to the clinic. Our knowledgeable nurses make the team and our clinic values a friendly and professional veterinary approach.

Congratulations to Stella and Lacie who recently came in for a vet check to assess Lacie’s suitability to join the Mount Gambier Story Dogs program - we are pleased to say Lacie passed with flying colours and will make a fantastic addition to the program 🐶📚
We look forward to hearing about how much the kids enjoy story time with Lacie 🧡

Happy 16th Birthday to the real boss of the clinic, our beautiful girl LUCILLE! 🎉🐾👑
While she may take things a little slower these days, she still keeps a close eye on the daily happenings around the clinic and makes sure everyone is doing their job properly. 💖
She’s been part of our family for 16 amazing years, and even on the tougher days, she reminds us just how special our senior pets are.

🌍🧁 Blue Lake Vet Bake Off – Around the World Edition! 🧁🌍

This month, split over 2 days our team swapped scrubs for aprons and turned up the heat for our very own Blue Lake Vet Clinic Bake Off! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our brave panel of four judges took on the tough job of taste-testing this rounds theme: International Recipe Cupcakes! We will just say, there were no complaints (just very full bellies 😄).

With a almost perfect score of 37/40 Nurse Brielle won the challenge with her Dubai Chocolate Crunch Cupcakes topped with a White Chocolate Pistachio Buttercream🤤🤤

The creativity was next level, with each cupcake bringing its own unique twist from around the globe. Don't they just look incredible?
