As soon as I got this stunning Priam’s Birdwing (Ornithoptera priamus), I knew it had to be in a Type O Negative inspired frame, the black and greens are just perfect. Obsessed with how this one turned out, can’t wait to add it to my personal collection.

Still riding the high from the most amazing weekend at the The Coven: Tattoo & Arts Expo

I have never felt so seen, heard and comfortable at an event before. So many new connections and friendships with such beautiful souls. I really found my people, my coven.

Huge thank you to everyone who stopped by over the weekend and showed Sarah and I so much love and support. It blows my mind how much love we received. From a weird girl with an obsession with bugs, tattoos and all things strange to vending at a tattoo expo, it still doesn’t feel real.

Hey, I’m Lillee also known as deathlydelicate (or that weird bug girl)
During covid I taught myself how to pin insects and process bones and instantly fell in love with the process. I started Deathly Delicate in 2021 as a passion project to create pieces for my own collection which quickly grew into creating pieces for friends and family then into markets appearances and being in physical stores. I never thought a girl with her love for bugs would get this far. When I’m not creating in the studio, I’m working full time in the water industry or spending time with my husband and dog.

I’m a sucker for a moth, I have such a soft spot for them and their fuzziness. The white witch moth (Thysania agrippina) is no exception. These guys are famous in the insect world for having the biggest wing span with some reaching a massive 36cm in width!
