The time is coming faster and faster. Only 10 days till first babies are due. Girls are now used to their new enclosures and sleep in them at night - means I actually get to sleep like a human 😂
In a week whelping pens and beddings will go in to be all ready for those precious arrivals.

I have been bit quiet recently as we are reorganizing the house to welcome 3 litters of puppies but dogs also contributed to me having no time for socials.
Week ago Sheba went to the vet with suspected broken foot. Luckily it was soft tissue damage and no break so she is limping less and less.
Few days ago Malacai must have been bitten by something venomous or ate something toxic - the first most probable.
Found him laying on the floor covered in drool, crying softly, cold and his eyes darting in random directions, he was completely floppy, couldn't stand. Glad it was in working hours and that our vet Sires on Ice is so close.
They took him in immediately and made him bit better first by warming him to right temperature.
Bloods shown nothing but neurological stress was suspected (venom) so he got fluids, anti nausea drugs and adrenaline. He had to be monitored all night just in case symptoms increase. So sleepless night again - giving him glucose, holding him close wrapped in blankets. By 2 am I managed to tempt him to eat cheese but he still didn't have full body control so food kept falling out of his mouth.
By 6am he got strong enough to stand on his own and p*e - that felt like an amazing victory.
He mended gradually over next few days and is back to being goofy and playful. But it was a big scare and I had to search whole bedroom, their enclosures and bedding with a torch terrified that whatever bit him may still be there and bite one of the girls.
It's never boring here. I hope we won't have any more drama before puppies arrive.
Sheba doesn't look big so her last litter may be smaller than usual. Lottie and Zora are very round.

This week's episode is titled "how I lost all my bedroom furniture" 😢
Girls get very hormonal and grumpy so for my peace of mind and safety of mums and puppies separate whelping cages were the best solution.
That unfortunately meant my furniture had to be removed from the bedroom. I got to keep the bed and a TV 🤦🤷
My personal use of the house is constantly shrinking 🤣

60kgs of raw meat just landed and the dogs acted like they personally hunted it themselves 💀 sternly supervising me huffing and puffing getting it into the kitchen and playing tetris in the freezer.

Meanwhile I’m over here eating toast for dinner while these fluffy freeloaders enjoy a Michelin star raw menu 🥩✨

The delivery guy definitely judged me carrying enough meat to feed a small zoo… but anything for the spoiled Cavoodle mafia 🐶👑
With girls hitting 6th week of pregnancy soon they will be hungry 24/7 and once they start nursing they quadruple their intake so it won't even last us a month.

It may be winter in the calendar but Perth weather disagrees. Beautiful, warm, sunny day just perfect for some exploring. We discovered huge fenced bush lot nearby and Zora and Malacai enjoyed exploring, racing and p*eing on everything (Malacai).

Two troublemakers made some babies… and if all goes to plan, they’ll arrive on the 17th of June 🤍

Daddy brings the affection, charm and endless playfulness.
Mummy brings the brains, mischief, independence and that signature “I know best” attitude. Together? We’re expecting some very special puppies.

Think striking blue merle phantoms, beautiful tris, possibly even some blue eyes… definitely not your average Cavoodles. An acquired taste? Maybe. But ordinary was never our thing.
