103 days is too long to be without a forever home, but that’s how long Princess has been waiting.

Princess, or PB for short is a loving, playful girl who loves to follow you around the house, she loves a wiggly string toy and will happily chase it around all day before showing off her incredible biscuit making skills.

Princess is part of our Adoption Ambassador Program which means she’s currently spending her time in her foster home until she finds her forever home. She currently lives with her 16-year old foster brother so she will be able to live with another cat as long as slow introductions are made.

If you think you can give Princess the royal treatment she deserves please email [email protected] or apply via https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1126326

Update: Pablo has been adopted!!

15 year old Pablo is ready to find his forever home, he came into our care after his beloved owner sadly passed away, and it's clear he was deeply cherished. From his affectionate head nudges to the soft, steady purring when he's near, Pablo shows his love in the quietest, sweetest ways.

Pablo isn't asking for much, just a calm, cosy spot to enjoy his golden years in peace. He's a low maintenance companion who enjoys the simple things: soft blankets, sunny windows, and a caring human nearby.

Thanks to a little dental work from our vet team, Pablo is in great health for his age. Now he's ready to start his final chapter with someone who appreciates the quiet joy of senior cat companionship.

If you're looking for a calm, loving friend to share your days with, Pablo may just be your perfect match. Head into our North Melbourne shelter to meet him today.

When Catherine and her partner first met Ruth at our shelter they knew that she’d be the perfect addition to their family.

“Ruth is now the quirkiest family member, she loves belly scratches and wakes us up with forehead kisses,” Catherine tells us.

Ruth also lives with her two fur siblings who were also adopted from the Home. “She loves to cuddle with Kyson, our dog and plays with Rex all night long.”

We couldn’t be happier for Ruth and her new family, we have so many animals just like her who are hoping to find their forever homes, head to dogshome.com for more information.

121 days ago Polly came into our care frightened and alone.

Three year old Polly is a shy girl who is looking for a family who will be patient with her and give her time and space to come out of her shell. Once she warms up, Polly is truly the sweetest, smoochiest girl you’ll ever meet, she loves cuddles and loves her favourite humans.

Polly has told us she will be able to go home with another calm natured dog pending a successful meet and greet. She also told us that the fastest way to earn her trust is with lots of treats - this will help her build some basic skills while she settles into her new home.(And who would say no to treats?!)

If this wonderful girl sounds like this one for you, please head down to our North Melbourne shelter during opening hours and make Polly’s dreams come true.
