Jude unfortunatley was the victim of a day care center that's why i started this business so that we could work together. Our first client was someone who had also unfortunatly believed a recomendation for a kennel close to melbourne airport and her dog suffered for two weeks with the highly contagious kennel cough. When it comes to our loved ones especially our furry friends its important to know that city sniffers is a service that cares and completly understands your furry friends needs.

Thirteen years ago, I received a life-changing phone call from my friend Hayley Cranehill, informing me that she had a puppy in desperate need of a loving home.

The moment Puppy Joe was placed in my arms, he wrapped his paws around my neck, and I knew in that instant that he was meant to be mine.

Jude, my loyal Weimaraner, graciously accepted Joe as his little brother, and together, the three of us formed an unbreakable bond.

As we navigated life's challenges, including a greedy landlord who demanded an additional $50 per week in rent for Joe, our resilience and love for each other only grew stronger.

When I was forced to surrender Joe to a dog rescue in Kyneton due to financial struggles, it was clear that we were meant to be together, as he was returned to me after just one night. The rescue shelter's demand for $450 to reunite us was a small price to pay for the joy and companionship Joe brought to my life.

To ensure Joe's place in our little family was secure, I took on additional work to cover the extra rent, and we continued to thrive together.

Our adventures were endless, from exploring new places to snuggling up in bed. When we finally moved to a new home, I was determined to seek justice for the illegal rent increase, and with the help of a fantastic lawyer, I was able to recover every penny.

Joe's larger-than-life personality, infectious bark, and unwavering enthusiasm inspired me every day. His fearless spirit and zest for life were a constant reminder to appreciate the little things and live in the moment.

When Joe was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor, I was determined to ensure his remaining days were filled with love, comfort, and minimal pain. Under the guidance of my trusted veterinarian, I cared for Joe, administering medication to alleviate his discomfort. As his condition progressed, it became clear that the kindest decision would be to release him from his suffering.

Today, I made the difficult choice to give Joe the gift of freedom from pain, and though my heart is heavy with grief, I am grateful for the precious time we shared.

Joe's unconditional love, unwavering loyalty, and unbridled joy have left an indelible mark on my life, and I will carry his memory with me forever. Ginger Jude Joe

Dear Joe, so many of my City Sniffers doggies have had the pleasure of meeting and playing with Joe over the years. 13 to be exact. Sadly a couple of weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer, a huge tumour is growing outwards between his heart and liver. To evasive to treat with surgery or chemo. He is on anti inflammatory medication. So far he’s been extremely brave and courageous as always.
I feel completely heartbroken for him, he’s been as you all know my best little buddy.
I’m just loving him everyday and of course praying for a miracle.
I hope everyone is well?
It’s been a long time since I’ve written or posted anything. But, of course I think about my city sniffers family all the time. 🌸

I received this message today about one of my dearest 4 legged Friend .. the beautiful Miss Cleopatra xx

“Hi Ginger. I hope that you're well. Last Friday, at 6:30pm, my baby girl, Cleopatra, grew her angel wings. She was 14 years and 5 months old. Cleo had a heart valve issue that escalated last week. I made the heartbreaking decision to assist her leave. I have been so very depressed, because I miss her so much. Rest in love baby girl.”

I feel so heartbroken 💔 because Miss Cleopatra was the cutest, courageous and funniest little girls I’ve ever met. Rest in peace, forever loved.
