One week ago, we were witness to an awful event for Spotswood. A targeted firebombing to a building that to most were unaware, housed several residents and small businesses. Some left jobless, some left homeless, one left with both losses. Our community quickly wanted to help. So, I worked over the last week to get in direct contact with those people to be able to provide our community the full list of those people needing support.

After being in contact with all from 55 Hudsons Rd I can say that they are all have been wonderful and kind even while still in this initial stage of shock and loss. Some may be more active than others, some find it hard to ask for support and help, but all are thankful to any support that they get.

Hi all me again!
Our end of Hudsons Rd is still completely closed with lots of work still going on at the scene.
We are accessible via foot, open and trading as usual until 6pm. Please come in and support us! 🙏
It's a very sad and quiet Spotswood on this side of the tracks.

As you may have heard on the news there's been a serious fire across the road from us.
Hudsons Road will be closed off from Hall St for most of today. However we have been given the clear to trade. Please walk via pub side of Hall St to get to us and if you get stopped let the police or fire crew know you are just coming to visit me 😊
