Maryborough Active Riders Club Inc Maryborough Active Riders (MARC) is an Equestrian club for all ages who own their own horses.

The Maryborough Active Riders Club has approximately 100 members and includes riders and non riding family members ranging from toddlers right through to seniors. We presently cater for Show and Dressage enthusiasts and our aim is to promote safe riding practice. We provide regular clinics, schools, competitions and fun days to accommodate all levels of riders. Our goals include the continual grow

th of the Club and improvements of our assets along with technological advancement to make our club accessible to all. Apart from regular MARC Days, the Club runs two major open events each year; namely, the Fraser Coast Dressage Championships and the Fraser Coast All Breeds Show.

Yes, MARC Official Dressage on 31 May is STILL ON!
However, Rings 2 & 3 will be on grass in Centre Ring.

Thank you to all the OTT owners who registered their interest in our SGQ Working Equitation Horse of the Year Competition to be held in September. QOTT have kindly sponsored our Event and we will have Rugs and Cash on offer for our OTTs, plus cash, trophies and
prizes to compete for across the weekend. All levels catered for.
MARC has a Working Equitation Come and Try, protocol and comp weekend scheduled for the 6th & 7th June; the perfect atmosphere to get your horses out and acquainted with Working Equitation. Noms closing soon so don’t delay.

We are still chasing sponsors for the following classes for our Fraser Coast All Breeds show

Saddle Pony

Unfortunately if we do not receive sponsorship of these breeds by Saturday 16th May we will have no choice but to remove them from the program.

No further changes to the program will be made after Saturday so we need sponsors secured by then.

MARC had a busy weekend with a Alice Hurley clinic on Saturday and then our dressage protocol/ training day with Maria Schwennesen who gave each rider incredible feedback in their first tests where they came back to put into practice with fabulous results. Well done everyone involved for a wonderful weekend. Our next event is our official dressage on 31st May. Remember there are club classes as well for unregistered horses. So get your entries in.A special mention to Debra Trease for taking amazing photos for us.
