It was good to see all the Ridgebacks at Wally Tate park on Sunday having a great time and they put in some really good times.

This is one quick Kelpie, running the 100m sprint yesterday at Wally Tate park.

There were a lot of dogs doing quick times on Sunday at Wally Tate park. Just watch how this dog speeds up just before the finish beams as it nears the catching area, many dogs did this which showed in their times.

Isn't great to see an owner with a dog who has only 3 legs giving the dog a chance to have a day out full of enjoyment.
this dog got very excited watching the other dogs run and when it came to its turn, was just so keen to chase, putting in two very measured runs well with in its disability.
Well done to dog and owner

First of all I must thank all the people who turned up early to help set up, the 100m plastic fence went up very quickly and in a dead straight line, everything was set up with about an hour to spare before the start, well done everyone.
What a perfect day for the 100m sprint, blue skies, nice cool breeze and nice springy grass to run on, the dogs loved it.
Once again only fencing one side of the 100m worked really well, having an unrestricted view of the dogs running just added to the enjoyment of the day.
There were a lot of very quick times today and it was good to watch how alot of dogs acturaly sped up just before the finish beams as if trying to catch the plastic bags before going into the catching area.
Great to see a 3 legged dog really enjoying the day and putting up some respectable times, have a video of this dog so will post it.
Thanks again to all the helpers today, in setting up, running the sprint and putting everything away at the end of the day, the dogs also say thankyou.
Have a few videos so will post some
The times will be in the next Pursuit magazine.

Due to not been able to set the 100m plastic fence up on Saturday due to a cricket match, it would be great if we could get some poeple to arrive around 7.30am to help put the plastic fence up.
We only put one side up over the 100m so people can see the dogs running, so it shouldn't take long to put it up.
thanks.
see you on the field
