When people think of beagles, they say ‘they just follow their nose.’ But there’s so much more to them — they’re loving, affectionate, and full of joy. Truly the happiest little hounds. 🐾

We’ve been snoozing! 😴 💤 - but where have we been? What have we been up too? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well we welcomed Nebbys first litter on Boxing Day (2025) and we welcomed our second born human in March (2026). We said goodbye to Zola (yellow collar) who travelled to Singapore and Mocha (pink collar) who travelled to Melbourne. 💛🩷

Which leaves us with Nat (purple collar), her official welcome is dogs qld pending 🐾 💜

This first half of the year is going to be a bit of a slow one, we have a few shows booked until the second half of the year which will pick up speed.

Behind the scenes, we have been dedicating more time to supporting organisations and initiatives that actively stand against animal cruelty — something that’s becoming increasingly important to us as breeders and dog lovers.

We will be sharing more on the beagle front shortly and promise to keep you updated 💕

On Boxing Day morning after the magic of Christmas we welcomed 3 gorgeous healthy girls into the world and 2 perfect boys into heaven. 🌈 🎄

We worked tirelessly on the two boys that came out breached and not breathing. Our first loss in breeding has impacted us greatly.

Breeding is not for the faint hearted, there is alot of heartache involved but also alot of happy and rewarding times.

All 3 girls and mum are doing great and we must share the wins, instead of focusing on the losses ❤️

🎉 Happy 2nd Birthday to Our First Litter! 🎉
Today marks 2 years since our journey truly began with the very first Szkarlat Beagles litter. 💛🐾

From tiny newborns to the curious, loving, and cheeky characters they are today — you’ve each made our hearts fuller and our home brighter. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys.

You’ll always be the first chapter of the Szkarlat story, and we’re so proud of the beautiful beagles you’ve become.

Here’s to many more birthdays, zoomies, and belly rubs! 🎂🐶🎈

Szkarlat Beagles will be showing on the day, Come for a pat and cuddles 🥰 Its going to be a great day with plently of beagles, we also have some interstate beagles attending too.

Huge congratulations to all the hard work Luke Redman and Stef have put into this little man with his showing and sporting adventures. He has just received his Novice Scentwork Title (dogs qld pending) ❤️

We look forward to seeing what this little man will do! Currently he’s working his way through scent work, conformation showing, sprints and lurecoursing.

The Beagle Club of Qld had their 31st Open Show last weekend, we returned to the show ring after a well deserved maternity break.

We came out with a nice little win of a Property Class, 🥇Best Headed Bitch with Szkarlat Emergance of Nebula

We have a big year planned out for the Szkarlat pack and cannot wait to share 🥰
