Just a friendly reminder that Maroubra Junction Vet Clinic will be closed over the long weekend.

We will reopen on Tuesday at 8:30 AM and look forward to seeing you and your pets then. 🩵

If your pet requires urgent veterinary attention while we are closed, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

🐾Meet Our Newest (and Tiniest) Team Member! 🐾

We’re excited to introduce the newest little addition to Maroubra Junction Veterinary Clinic — this beautiful kitten 🐱✨

For now, she’s our official clinic cat, keeping our nurses company, supervising the front desk, and practising her very important purring skills.

She doesn’t have a name yet — and we’d love your help! Drop your name suggestions in the comments below 👇

While she’ll be spending some time growing, learning, and receiving all her veterinary care with us, we will be looking for the perfect forever home for her when she’s ready. We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated when the time comes 🏡💕

Welcome Dr Irene Ellis to our work family.

Dr Irene has a wealth of experience and is well known for her ultrasound diagnostics in addition to this she is very competent with complex soft tissue surgery. Dr Irene is also a member in small animal medicine by examination.
Working with Dr Jon who has over 30 years experience they make an awesome team with highly experienced veterinary nurses to ensure your pet has the best care possible.
Since July Dr Irene has been delighting our clients with her friendly disposition and veterinary skills.

We are thrilled that Dr Irene Ellis has joined our work family. Dr. Irene is well known for her experience in ultrasonography and is an experienced surgeon who does a lot of complex soft tissue surgery. In addition to all this she is a member of small animal medicine by examination.
She joined us in July and our clients have been delighted to have her onboard with her added expertise.

Dr Jon Berkowitz has over 30 years of veterinary experience. In our practice we consider ourselves like your human GP doctor. We deal with the day-to-day conditions that your pet may have which most of the time we can treat within a normal consultation. In current times with so many referral and 24....

If your pet is slowing down think of having a check up. Poor Rory has elbow arthritis. Now we know he is on a course of cartrophen and responding so well. We prefer catrophen initially vs other meds as it has a positive effect on the joint

Frankie came in with a bone lodged in his back teeth. Luckily for Frankie his mum quickly brought him into MJ VET. Samantha jumped into action by dislodging and removing the bone from Frankie’s mouth
