We’re looking for one or two enthusiastic people to join our small team at our boutique agistment property in Main Ridge, on the Mornington Peninsula.

Duties include general stable work and daily feed runs. We have a mix of AM and PM shifts available, as well as weekend work.
Training is provided, but prior experience with horses is essential.

We’re hoping to fill the position as soon as possible.

About the role:
📅 ~20 hours per week

Key duties:
🐴 Leading, feeding, and rugging horses
🧹 Stable cleaning and general care
🚜 Driving a quad bike and small Kubota for feed runs and stable cleaning

✔️ Has previous stable experience (training provided, but prior experience essential)
✔️ Shows strong attention to detail and can follow a system
✔️ Is reliable, hardworking, and confident around horses

🌿 Part-Time Farm Hand – Redhill Equestrian Pty Ltd, Mornington Peninsula VIC 🌿

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on farm hand to join our boutique horse agistment business located in the beautiful Red Hill region on the Mornington Peninsula.

This is a part-time position, available for an immediate start, perfect for someone who takes pride in property presentation and enjoys working outdoors in a supportive and horse-friendly environment.

🛠 Duties include:

Gardening & Groundskeeping
• Mowing, snipping, edging, blowing, sweeping
• Trimming hedges and shrubs
• Watering gardens and maintaining presentation

Farm & Property Maintenance
• Feeding out hay to horses
• Fence repairs and general upkeep
• Machinery maintenance (refuelling, cleaning)
• Rubbish removal
• Grading arenas and keeping surfaces level

🐴 The Ideal Candidate:
• Has practical experience with farm or garden maintenance
• Is confident around horses (experience a bonus, but not essential)
• Has a can-do attitude and takes initiative
• Is physically fit and enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
• Holds a current driver’s license (tractor or machinery experience a bonus)

We are BUSY and a Stable hand position has become available NOW.

We are looking for an experienced stable hand to support our 5 star Agistment property in Main Ridge, Mornington Peninsula.

Average of 20 hours per week. Morning and or afternoon shifts. Must be available to work some weekends.

Role requirements

Leading horses
Feeding horses
Rugging horses
Cleaning stables
Daily horse management
Grading arenas

Successful applicant must -

Be able to drive a quad bike and small Kabota for feed run and stable cleaning.

Show attention to detail and follow a system

Training provided but successful applicant must have worked previously at a stable.
