We have a full 8 jump course set up ready for a jump day tomorrow (Sunday the 16th) we're open from 8am till late. If you forget your snacks we have a vending machine full of tasty treats to keep you going while you ride. Message us to book your spot.

This is appalling to hear!!

Equestrian Australia High Performance and the panel of Selectors have made the decision not to send a team of para equestrian athletes to compete at World Equestrian Games in Denmark in August despite the fact that three athletes have met the selection criteria.

These inspirational athletes are also not allowed to self fund their trip, which many of the other teams are allowed to do including the Dressage team.

We ask that Equestrian Australia High Performance reverse this decision which appears to be discriminatory and is certainly not in the best interest of the sport!!

1,253 signatures are still needed! Reverse the decision and send our Para Equestrian Athletes to World Equestrian Games

With school holidays coming up casual arena hire is filling up and what better way to spend the day.

We have jump night with Kirsten Twining on Thursdays
Pole work with Lyndal Pankhurst on Wednesday nights
And Amanda Ross will be joining us soon for lessons too!!

Prices for casual arena hire are $30 for shared/flat work per hour per horse & $50 for jumping/private per hour per horse. Can do discounts for large bookings too.

We are pleased to announce Leisurely Park will be holding regular jumps nights with Kirsten Twining!!

We will be starting this Thursday the 19th of May at 4:30pm and have four spots available. At this stage we can only book in riders that have had lessons with Kirsten but if you're interested please send us or Kirsten a message to set up a private lesson and we can book you in for jump nights.

Time slots available for this week are:
2x 5:30pm
2x 6:30pm

Kirsten is a rider & coach who has extensive experience in training horses primarily for Eventing. She has competed up to 4* FEI Level Eventing, schooling many of her own off the track thoroughbreds up to 3*.

Whilst she was based in WA until recently she has competed at FEI level in NSW, WA, VIC and SA. She is now living on the Peninsular, retraining ex-race horses for the fantastic Rehab4Rebab organisation at RedHill Equestrian, and is also available for coaching of riders & schooling of horses at Leisurely Park every Thursday.

She has over 20years coaching experience, taking extra care to listen to the rider & personalising the sessions to suit each individual’s needs.
Private lessons are available to start with, with a view to pair up riders at a similar level or those who have similar needs in future sessions.

Whilst some of the exercises may seem complicated, the aim is to make jumping feel simple by developing good horse control, rider position and an excellent understanding of the theory involved.
Riders over 11yo that can confidently canter and jump at least 60cm with a willingness to learn & try new exercises may enjoy these lessons.

Alternatively if you have a specific problem with your steed, Kirsten is happy to get on (must be safe) and do a schooling session or help develop a strategy for you to go forward with.
