In 2005, we started a business which let me work in an environment close to my heart - looking after animals. After fostering puppies for a pet rescue organisation in Townsville, North Queensland, I decided I wanted to give more to animals. They unconditionally love you, no matter what, so I wanted the opportunity to spoil them back. So we, Reg and I, set about establishing Moggy's Doggys Hydro B
ath - A mobile dog wash. The heated hydro bath was great for soothing every dog's aching body. Along with the bathing, our smart little van contained a mobile pet shop for all doggy and moggy needs - pet food, bones, toys, collars, and so on and so on, with everything conveniently delivered to our customers front doors. For people who couldn't get to to the vet for what they needed, I was able to supply and administer all worming, flea and tick control products. Along with a Dog Grooming Certificate, I also studied Reiki, which is a hands-on healing treatment. In my experience, Reiki has had a dramatic effect on the animals - for example, quicker recovery time after surgery, pain relief, and stress relief. We operated this business for 5 years in Queensland. i loved the people we met, but most of all I loved treating the dogs to a Doggy Day Spa treatment every day, one that the owners were jealous of. Since moving here in 2016, we have been fostering with SAFE Perth (Saving Animals From Euthanasia), an animal rescue organisation where animals are taken to a carer's home and raised with/as their own until a new forever home can be found. This has been very rewarding for our family and has sparked the drive for me to bring love to all animals again. We would love to be apart of your canine's life. I am champing at the bit to make a difference in as many animals lives as possible. So much so, I have decided we will be donating $2 per dog wash to SAFE Perth to help the rescued animals. In January, 2017 we started the concept of relaunching the business in Western Australia. We are in the process of building a trailer and we will be ready to hit the road in February, 2017. We are currently setting up our trailer and practicing our technique to bring to your front door. Come on a journey with me this year so we can all make a little difference to animals in the State of Western Australia.
