It is with deepest sadness, we take this time to share the news of one of our most treasured family member's passing to the rainbow bridge.

Bella has been a long term resident at ARRG for over a decade. In that time she touched the hearts of many and was a constant familiar and loving (sometimes snarly) face at the centre.

She had her quirks, like her absolute distaste of other dogs but the love to stir them up and mark their pens whenever she had the chance, knowing they could do nothing to her, and her love hate relationship with pats - only when she said so and only how ever many she felt was acceptable at that particular time or else she would let you know you had exceeded that limit with a quick snap that would come at any minute. Despite the quirks and traits that came from her beginnings, She was a truly loyal dog and brightened our lives at ARRG.

Fly high Miss Bells ❤️🌈

🎄🐾 Meet Sir Butterscotch – Our Distinguished Gentleman 🐾🎄

Sir Butterscotch is our oldest resident in the cattery, and what he would love most this festive season is a home of his very own. Whether it’s his pawfect forever family or a loving foster home to shower him with affection, he would be eternally grateful.
This charming boy has come such a long way. From the scrawny, scared little man who first arrived, he’s now blossomed into a chatty companion, steadily gaining condition and confidence.
Sir Butterscotch does have hyperthyroidism, which means he needs medication morning and night. Thankfully, he’s a true foodie and happily takes his medication hidden in a delicious bowl of food – no fuss at all!
If you can offer Sir Butterscotch a safe, loving space – even just for the holiday period – please reach out to us via email or through our website. He’s ready to soak up all the love you have to give.

✨ Give Sir Butterscotch the gift of home this Christmas – he deserves it. ✨

MEET SCOOBY

I’m Scooby a 5-month-old Kelpie x Staffy!

I came into the care of the wonderful rangers after I was found at the Goonellabah shops, where things weren’t going so great for me. I’m microchipped, but sadly my details weren’t up to date, so the rangers stepped in to keep me safe.

Now that I’m here, I’m living my best life and soaking up all the love! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playing with my Kong (seriously, it’s my favourite thing ever). I’m learning to sit on command, and I adore any attention and affection you’re willing to throw my way.

I’m on the hunt for my furever home a place where I can love my family just as much as they’ll love me. I’m great with kids (especially the ones who know how to throw my Kong!), and I’d really benefit from ongoing training to help me ace the rest of my commands. I’d also love the chance to keep socialising with other animals so I can grow into my best self.

If you’d like to meet me, please reach out to the rangers to organise a meet and greet. I can’t wait to say hi!
