Diesel is a beautiful, eye-catching brown gelding with three lovely flowing paces and all the qualities to excel in a variety of disciplines. He has a beautiful soft mouth, travels comfortably in a soft frame, and is ready to continue progressing in his rider’s chosen discipline.

Diesel completed the prestigious Tocal College Foundation Training Program and placed 3rd in the 2023 Tocal College Stock Horse Challenge, highlighting his quality, trainability, and potential.

His dam, TOCAL AQUARIUS HSH, has produced multiple successful progeny, including the 2011 top-priced mare and well-performed campdraft mare TOCAL HEARTBREAK. Diesel also carries outstanding heritage bloodlines including:

• Warrenbri Omega
• Blue Moon Mystic
• Adios Reflect
• Abbey
• Yallatup Rivoli Rex

Diesel has exceptionally comfortable paces and all the buttons to please, including a strong stop, rollbacks, and quality foundation education.

He can initially be a little shy until he gets to know his rider; however, he has proven himself to be a very capable young gelding with plenty of talent to shine in the right hands.

He would be a fantastic young horse for a capable teen wanting to bring along a safe honest gelding up the levels

If left out of work for extended periods, Diesel may occasionally show a small hump whilst lunging; however, once under saddle he has consistently proven to be foot perfect.

Diesel would best suit an experienced rider or capable teenager wanting to continue producing a well-minded, flashy gelding for the show, challenge, or campdraft scene.

Please note Diesel does have an old scar on the near-side hock, which does not affect his soundness in any way.

We are currently seeking an experienced and confident rider to join our growing team at M B EQUINE in Glamorgan Vale.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of horses, including young horses, sale horses, and educated performance horses, in a professional and supportive environment.

🐴 Casual Position with Superannuation
📍 Glamorgan Vale, QLD
🗓️ Monday – Friday
⏰ Morning hours (may vary depending on workload)

We are looking for someone with strong horsemanship skills, a good work ethic, and the ability to produce quality work both independently and as part of a team. Cow horse experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Surf is a handsome bay gelding with three quality, forward-moving paces and a willing attitude under saddle.

He has been extensively used for mustering and team sorting with a capable rider and has the foundation of a good stop, along with the early stages of rollbacks. Surf is an athletic horse that enjoys having a job and is happiest when kept active.

On the ground, Surf can initially be reserved and somewhat standoffish with unfamiliar people. He can be slightly difficult to catch until he becomes comfortable with his handler, as he presents as somewhat head shy. However, with patience and consistency, he quickly settles and forms a strong connection with his person.

Under saddle, Surf is responsive and willing, collecting into a lovely frame and showing good potential to continue progressing. He is quiet for clipping, washing, brushing, rugging, and general day-to-day handling.

Surf can be slightly looky but hadn’t proven to be nasty with no buck bolt rear

Surf is not suited to a beginner rider and would be best matched with a capable teenager or adult seeking a reliable horse for team sorting, farm work, Campdrafting, mustering, or a versatile mount that can comfortably work all day.
