We’re so excited to announce that Carbonel Cats will be attending the TasFeline Winter Cat Show on Sunday 21 June 🩷🐾

We’ll have some of our Siamese and Oriental babies there on display throughout the day, so if you’ve ever wanted to meet the breed in person, have a cuddle, or chat all things cats, come and say hello!

There will also be fun companion cat classes, rescue cats, shopping stalls, and lots of beautiful cats to meet throughout the day 💕

A love for cats started early 🩷🐾

This is me with my very first Oriental Shorthair, Thai, sitting proudly on my Pop’s knee, alongside my sister Danielle from Carbonel Couture. Safe to say the obsession started young… and never really stopped 😹

And look how high his ears were! 👀✨ Very different from what’s being bred now. Oriental type has changed so much over the years, and it’s always fascinating looking back at these old photos.

From childhood cuddles to breeding, showing, and living life surrounded by cats — they’ve always been such a huge part of our family. 🩷

What a day at the TasFeline Autumn Show 🩷🐾

We took along Wilson (Carbonel Fashion Express), Winnie (Carbonel Wind Dancer), Doc (Carbonel Dr Expresso), Greta (Carbonel Beyond The Stars), and a litter of four babies — and I couldn’t be prouder of them all.

Wilson and Winnie both made it into the Top 5 Exhibits in Show, which is such an achievement… but the biggest surprise of the day was little Carbonel Ophelia ✨

Our gorgeous lilac Oriental Shorthair kitten took out Supreme in Show under Judge Phillipa Perkins — still can’t quite believe it!

Days like this make all the hard work so worth it 💕

Today I received this gorgeous message from one of my kitten families 🩷

Nearly 3 years on and hearing how loved and cherished he is… this is exactly why I do what I do.

These babies don’t just leave here — they become part of someone’s family, their daily routine, their little shadows and best friends. And getting updates like this never gets old.

It really does make it all worth it 🐾
