Our season has officially finished today 😞 and the flower fridge has moved inside the shed for a winter break . The liquid ambers are just about bare as you can see from the pics taken this afternoon around the farm 🍂 and we are looking more like a 'roo' farm than a rose farm at the moment 😂. Whilst there wont be flowers 💐 being picked there is still plenty to do - pruning a few thousand roses will keep everyone busy !!! Anyway , a big thank you to everyone who drops in to the farm to purchase flowers and also to those who come along to the local markets we attend. Your support of our small family business is appreciated 👏 😊.

Just letting you all know we will not be doing anymore markets until around the beginning of October BUT we will continue to stock the flower fridge at the farm for another week or so 💐. If you are driving by stop in and have a look 👀. We will let you know when we have turned the fridge off 📴.

Tomorrow we will be for our LAST MARKET OF THE SEASON ☹️. The weather has cooled down 🥶 and this means the flowers slow down ⬇️. At this week's market you will find a great deal on XL mixed chrysanthemum posies - just $10 for these huge bunches ! We will also have a limited supply of protea & native bunches , roses💐 and sunflowers 🌻 .
Get in early to grab your last bunch of beautiful Benefield's Flowers until our market season kicks off again in early October.

It's a beautiful day here at Halfway Creek and we have a great selection of flowers for Mum here at the farm. Sorry no roses or natives but lots of Chrysanthemums 🌸
The flowers will be in the office area and not in the flower fridge for most of the day. Just pop inside the sliding door to the right of the fridge and someone will help you out. If you're coming through later in the day the fridge will be up and running around 4pm .

See you this Thursday (and Grafton on Friday and Saturday) ! Our stall will be a sight to behold 😎🤗 🌟 with a huge range of colourful flowers for you and your Mum 💕. We have large bunches and small ones - something for everyone . There is no need to worry about them lasting till Sunday .... Why you might ask ?? Our Chrysanthemums are ;
• Picked fresh this week , not weeks old
• No international or interstate cold storage transport
• Hydrated immediately after harvest
• Sold direct from grower .
Dont wait till Saturday or Sunday to get your Mum flowers from the supermarket - (see our pic comparing ours and theirs 😳) - get them tomorrow fresh from our farm to you !

These images capture a little of today's journey of the chrysanthemums. It's a big effort getting them harvested , sorted and packed ready for all the Mum's around our area. Take a look at these beautiful Chrysanthemums that we picked today ! The beautiful bright yellows and whites plus a few other colours are being donated to the United Hospital Auxiliary - Grafton Branch for their special Mother's Day Morning Tea being held this Wednesday. The proceeds from the morning tea go towards buying much needed equipment for the Grafton Base Hospital and we are glad to be able to help with decorating the tables at the event 🤗.
