This one deserves a mention. This cheeky young man tested my patience and took four hours to get done. He wasn't having any part in it. We preservered and it paid off with a whole heap of new experiences and some serious tolerance lessons. Best of luck to this guy at his first show next weekend! He came up beautifully and he was the one who initiated the smooches at the end so he didn't even hate me 😂 quite the "expressive" yearling. 🤣

Very interesting. So great that we are making progress but it's terribly sad that the old ways still exist. My chestnut mare was tortured and broke her wither from being tied down. She was the sweetest horse I ever have met once all of the fear was removed. My beautiful Lacey lady ❤️

When do horse training methods cross the line from accepted to abusive? Despite significant advances in scientific knowledge about horse welfare and behavior, abusive training still occurs.

One of my first professional clips. Can not believe it was over 10 years ago. I still love the incredible transformations and the conversation that I have with the horses to get their trust.

The fuzz has begun. Currently unable to continue with my Qld clients die to border closures but as soon as they open I'll be heading up that way. Good news for my NSW clients means that I have more time down here for the floof removal.
