Hello All

Below is the GDOC timetable for 23rd August 2026.

The first class is Basic Scent Work 1 hour class 2pm to 3pm with set up 1.30pm – Mary & Leisa

In the first half of training from 3.30 - 4.00 pm:
Basic Obedience (Yvonne/ Tangil)
Basic / Intermediate Rally (Leisa/ Jenny)
Rally Trial Protocol (Mary) Class members please be available at 3.00pm to set up ring. I will do a Novice course this week.

Half time break: 4.00 – 4.30 pm

In the second half of training from 4.30 - 5.00 pm:

Basic Manners (Jenny)
Basic Agility (Leisa/ Ashley to help set up )
Intermediate Agility (Yvonne)
Rally Trial Protocol continued (Mary)

Tickets are still available in the 100 Club , so please bring $2 and buy a ticket at the sign on desk.

RAFFLE......RAFFLE......RAFFLE......RAFFLE......

This bright playful quilt is up for the raffle. It will be drawn at the Grafton Dog Obedience Tracking Trial in about a weeks time. You don't have to be going or even a member to purchase tickets for this lovely hand made lap quilt. Just leave your name in the comments & the number of tickets you are purchasing, then pay for them by electronic transfer to the clubs account. Make sure you put your name as the reference and the word RAFFLE. You will need to leave a contact number for us if you are not Tracking.

At our scent work trial yesterday many people asked about our October trial. Entries will open on 3rd September for volunteers and 6th September if you are not available to volunteer. Note each day is a separate trial, so if you are eligible in more than one class and they are run on different days you can enter both. We are also offering Not For Comp at this trial. That allows you to run in your normal class, and in a class above for some practice at the next level. Note that our last few trials have closed early due to classes filling. If you have entered but not paid, and the trial closes, your entries are automatically removed. See you there!

Breakfast $5.00 per person per day.

Refreshments: Homemade food and drinks from the Shed on grounds. Bar-B-Que breakfast each day.

The Club is going to run a 100 club as a fund raiser please bring along $2 and select your number on the board at the sign on desk. It will be drawn when all numbers are sold.

Map for our Scent Work trial on Wednesday. Please park on the grass in front of the clubhouse, between the chook pavilion and the pavilion where container searches are being held. Make sure not to exercise your dogs in the vehicle search area, or where you can see the vehicle searches. Thanks.

There were 15 competitors with 9 Qualifications i.e. 60% pass rate. Well done everyone.

Thank you to our judges Marion Leaver ACT and Dr Ann-Marie Boyd QLD.

Congratulations to Leisa Williams and Pepper on passing a TSD 6 and Obtaining their TSDX title. Also, congratulations to Tangil Kinch and Jaz for passing TSD3 and gaining Jaz’s TSD title. Congratulations to the other 7 competitors and their dogs who successfully passed their tracks. Thank you to everyone else who entered may you have better luck next time.

A very big thank you to everyone who helped in any way with the trial to make it a success.

I hope that there will be many more passes and titles at our September 2026 trial.
