Brrr! The chilly weather is setting in & just like us, our pets feel it too.

Older cats & dogs can really struggle in the cold. Arthritis & joint stiffness can flare up, making it harder for them to get around comfortably. You might notice them moving slower, hesitating to jump/climb or even seeming a bit grumpier than usual.

A few ways to help them through the cold:
• Provide soft, warm bedding away from draughts
• Use pet jackets for extra warmth
• Consider pet-safe heat packs or heating pads
• Keep up with any prescribed arthritis treatments
• Gentle indoor exercise to keep joints moving

And don’t forget, ticks are still around - even in the middle of winter! It’s vital to keep up with regular tick prevention all year round.

If you’re unsure about the best option for your pet or want to discuss winter joint support please phone our clinic on - 66 423 681
We’re here to help keep your furry family members happy & healthy. 💙

These two adorable assistants stopped by the clinic today to make sure everything was running smoothly (and maybe to check if there were any treats hiding behind the counter)
We love having these sweet girls visit us! 💙

🚨PARVOVIRUS‼️
We have recently had a patient test POSITIVE to parvovirus.

Parvovirus is a highly contagious & life-threatening disease that attacks a dog’s gastrointestinal tract & immune system. Parvo can cause severe vomiting, bloody diarrhoea, dehydration & even death.

💉Parvo is preventable!
Vaccination is the best way to protect your dogs from this disease. Puppies are especially susceptible because their immune systems aren’t fully developed, which is why following the recommended vaccination schedule is vital.

Make sure your pup is protected:
✅ Begin vaccinations from 6–8 weeks of age
✅ Complete the full vaccine course
✅ Keep your pup away from unvaccinated dogs & high traffic areas until fully vaccinated
✅ Maintain annual booster vaccinations

If you have any questions about your dog’s vaccination status or need to book an appointment, we’re here to help.
Call us on 66 423 681 during our opening hours.

Let’s work together to keep our furry friends safe & healthy! 💙
