This week was National Volunteer Week, and we want to take a moment to recognise the incredible people who make Arundel Park RDA such a special place. 💚

From our Management Committee, Maintenance Team, Class Support, Fundraisers, Horse Care, Dedicated Poo Pickers, and Reception Volunteers — every single one of you plays an important role in helping our Centre thrive.

With over 60 active volunteers supporting our herd of 22 horses and more than 120 participants each week, we truly couldn’t do what we do without your dedication, kindness, and passion.

Thank you for the time, care, and energy you give to our organisation and community each and every week. 🐴✨

A huge shout out to two incredible Members of our Arundel Park RDA family — Megan Fay and Elizabeth Vance. 💚 🐴

Recently recognised through the City of Gold Coast Gold Coast Australian of the Year Awards:

Being nominated is such a wonderful achievement and reflects the positive impact both women continue to make within our community every single day.

🌧️🐴 While the humans are reaching for gumboots and umbrellas… our horses are out here living their best “waterfront lifestyle” 🌊😂

Rest assured, all of our APRDA horses are safe, happy, well cared for and adapting beautifully to the wet weather. In fact, some of them seem to think they’ve joined a rowing club instead of a riding centre! 🚣‍♂️🐎

Thank you to everyone checking in on our herd — your love and support means the world to us 💙 Stay safe, stay dry, and enjoy these very important future Olympians training for the equestrian rowing team 😆
