🎉 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE RESULT! 🎉

The 50:50 Charity Raffle at the Gold Coast Titans v Cowboys game raised an amazing $13,058!

🎟️ One lucky winner received $6,529
🐴 APRDA received $3,264.50
💙 Easi is generously contributing an additional $1,250

That’s a fantastic total of $4,514.50 for our Centre!

We also achieved the highest online raffle total raised before the gates opened at any Titans game this year!

🌭 What a fantastic fundraising day! 🌭

On 15 August, we joined Bunnings Arundel for a successful Bunnings sausage sizzle! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, grabbed a sausage, made a donation, or simply stopped by to show their support. Every contribution helps us continue the important work we do at our centre. ❤️

This week was Ground Skills Week at APRDA, and we had so much fun celebrating our wonderful horses! 🎉🐴

Participants got creative making birthday cakes, decorating, creating birthday cards, and celebrating the horses who give so much to our community each and every week.

Ground skills are a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, teamwork and connection with our horses in a different way – and this week was full of smiles, laughter and plenty of birthday cheer.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the celebrations so special. 💚

It is with the deepest sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Happy. 💚

After more than 12 days of intensive treatment at the Gold Coast Equine Clinic, Happy passed away on Tuesday morning. Despite the incredible care and every effort made by his veterinary team, he was unable to recover.

Happy touched the lives of so many people during his time at Arundel Park Riding for Disabled. He gave so much to so many, helping children and adults build confidence, independence, connection and joy through our equine-assisted programs. He had the gentlest nature and an incredible ability to connect with people in a way that words can’t always describe.

Losing a horse who has been such an important part of our APRDA family is heartbreaking, and so soon after our beloved Snip. Our thoughts are with everyone who loved and cared for Happy over the years, especially our staff and volunteers who stood by him throughout his final days.

To everyone who donated, shared our updates, sent messages of support or simply kept Happy in your thoughts - thank you. Your kindness has meant more than we can express during this incredibly difficult time.

Happy’s legacy will live on through the thousands of smiles, achievements and memories he helped create. He will never be forgotten.

💚 We know this news will be deeply upsetting for many in our community. Please remember that our staff and volunteers are grieving too. We kindly ask everyone to be patient and compassionate with one another as we process this loss together. Thank you for your understanding, your kindness and for giving our team the space to mourn a horse who meant so much to so many.
