With so many cats and kittens struggling to find care in the arms of a foster carer within a rescue and then not being able to just gracefully enter the pound system for help, we beg of you to choose adoption when looking for a companion or if you do decide to take a kitten or cat from the street please make desexing, vaccines, microchips and parasite treatments are the big priority. If you cannot provide that you are really not helping much at all.
“The only way to fix this is to fix them!”
Project Meow Geelong for desexing assistance.
Geelong Animal Rescue GAR Ltd if you would love to adopt or foster some animals in need. 💜🧡💙💜
Adoption means your animal is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated AND THIS supports the organisation you adopt from.
No money is made on adoption, none at all. To vet a kitten to the same level would cost $500-$700 easy.
When you adopt you make space for another to get the help they need.

Meet the irresistibly adorable Hattie!
Hattie came into care with her mum Emmie and three sisters, Oakie, Pixie & Remmie. This sweet little family has blossomed into the most affectionate, friendly bunch of kittens you could ever hope to meet.
Hattie is a little bundle of love — always ready for cuddles and the first to climb into your lap. She adores snuggling under blankets and purrs at every opportunity. Playtime is another one of her favourite things, especially when it involves a good game of wrestle with her sisters. She is also a bit of a Mummy’s girl & loves cuddling up beside her & getting a free grooming session. Don’t tell her sisters, but I think she’s Emmie’s favourite too.
Hattie would be thrilled to find a forever home with her mum, or else one of her siblings, Remmie or Pixie (Oakie has already been adopted). That said, she'd also be happy with another feline friend (though it's not essential if the right family comes along).
Hattie is currently thriving in a busy foster home alongside her mum, sisters, two school-aged children, a dog, and two resident cats. She gets along well with the other cats and was initially unfazed by the large kelpie-cross dog. However, after her mum had a less-than-welcoming encounter with him, Hattie and her siblings have become a bit wary. Thankfully, they’re slowly warming up to him again and are now allowing him to come close for a sniff. With patience and a gentle introduction, I’m certain Hattie will adjust well to a canine companion. Hattie has been an indoor only cat while in foster care and must continue this in her forever home for her own safety.
This lovely little kitten would be a perfect fit in just about any household. She's confident, curious, gentle, and affectionate — great with children, cats, and, with time, dogs too. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, and playful addition to your family, Hattie might just be your perfect match.
Hattie is desexed, microchipped & up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
