Last race of 2025!
And we had 5 kids with us this time 😄
Holly was the only golden there 😅
Bells was the only oodle 😂
And young Finn 6 months old has set his eyes on adding to the howling and shrieking when he’s old enough 🐶 🛷 🚲

What do we do on a Saturday afternoon … after paying clients …. Help groom their two girls Dash & Koda who drove over from Werribee 🚗 🐶 🐶 🛁
This is desperate , not the dogs whose owners decide once or maybe twice a year is ok for a groom. When nails are that long, and there are matts in-between toes, when matts on the elbows are so tight it’s pulling on the dogs skin and fur sprouting out from their paws like a bit of shaggy carpet!
Rest up you two fluff balls and hope you find a new home with responsible caring humans 🩷🩷

Watch me not take on any Spring Summer and especially Christmas desperados this year! Getting wiser (finally 🤣)!
In any case December was booked up earlier in the year with our faithful regulars and their happy dogs who behave 😍
Gidgetty Gidget pictured here is just 7 months old and we started grooming training at 4 months. Guess what….i see less pancaking today on the table and she’s standing confidently on ALL fours! Not all the time but she’s making an effort 🤩
She’s getting used to the big blue bathtub and the dryer, the sound and feel of the clippers on her, nails being cut, scissors snipping around her face.
It’s not a perfect groom but I’ll do as much as I can on a fidgety Gidgetty Gidget ☺️

Babysat the kangaroo over the last couple of days 😍 Baxter is a kangaroo coz every time he sees us he’s up on two legs hoppity hop! Mum came home from her break to a clean fluffy roo 😁!

A and blessing that two dogs cancelled today so that Koda and Wolverine from could come in for an emergency makeover! Poor boys were so badly matted and both were so good for their grooming too!

Funny thing was one client left to go home to Werribee and the next client had moved from there over this side 😆

Hey hey I’ve been on a social media break … like you probably noticed it was less furry on Facebook 😄
How is everyone doing as we head into Spring in a couple of weeks!
Momo was off his food and walks for a long while but all that’s been rectified now with a change in food. Still but back to his Biotic Joint which he loves. I put him down to being a fussky but after noticing his back leg give way under him on his walks, a consult with Deb the LifeWise dog nutritionist quickly had him back on the Joint and he’s been eating well ever since! He’s got more energy and is more alert 🤩! For a while there I was thinking here we go again another kid on the downhill 🤦🏼‍♂️! Nooo! Too soon! It’s been only two months since we lost our Num Num 💗

Work is steady steady which we’re grateful for! We can’t cater to everyone’s taste and budget. We’re not a fast food chain with fast food pricing. We love and take care of our loyal clients and those who travel far and wide 🚙 🐶
Grooming dogs who aren’t used to being bathed, dried and brushed is too stressful for the dog. Something most owners don’t get. And won’t invest to help their dogs succeed in life. Piete and I actually got bit a month ago with one such dog. Not seriously but there was puncture wounds. And let me be clear, it’s not the dog’s fault freaking out being put in a situation it can’t control and isn’t used to.
Well , into the second half of the year we go 🌷🥳. To those of you who train your dogs, who’ve booked them in to the end of the year for their grooms , seek professional advice instead of second guessing, I salute you 😊 💚
