Hey all i had some questions about pet dryers. These are absolutely amazing i have one at home and its best tool i have when grooming.
1. Great for short hair dogs that shed. When we would groom a short hair dog a pre blow dry would free up a lot of the dead hair and then once washed this would get rid of any other loose hairs from the washing process. Amazing for Husky's, Bernese mountain dogs, Golden retrievers and even Jack Russell's.
2. Comes in handy after a visit to the beach/wet park or pool. One challenge our customers had was preventing matting in dogs that regularity got wet. Dogs will mat easily when wet and a dryer like this allows you to ensure the coat is dry all the way to the skin. It also blows all the sand off.
3. General washing and maintenance, In between grooms sometimes can feel like forever and most d.i.y dog washes are costing upwards of $20+ these days. This will allow you to be able to wash and dry like a professional at home and minimize and even stop matting and a smelly coat.
4. Desensitization, Especially for the dogs who struggle with groomers or tend to be fearful of a dryer. Having it at home allows you to turn it on around feeding time on a low speed whilst your dog eats or even when they are on the couch to help them get more relaxed around the sound.
