At Doggo Lingo we love to support local businesses!
Silly Solly's Flagstone is a great shop for great value items! Grab yourself a metal comb and a slicker brush to keep your doggo’s coat free of tangles and reduce matting problems! Excessive matting means us groomers have no alternative but to go short!
Nail clippers to keep the nails in check, regular nail trims = compliance and confidence , reducing potential changes to your dogs posture and reduce catching clothes and your skin!
P*e pads are great for all uses, car trips and to avoid unwanted p*e stains!
Wipes are ideal for regular face cleaning and freshen up as needed.
And for our cat lovers, the crystals are great for the litter box and very good value!
Lots of collars, leads, bedding options and toys ( remember to supervise your doggo with all toys and discard if any fraying or damage).

Hey Tracey,

I am just writing to let you know that your services have been missed!

Around this time last year, I bought my lovely Francesca to you to be groomed. She suffers from severe anxiety and had an injury at the time. You took extra care and consideration with her, allowing her breaks, lunch, and a stroll in your yard to ensure that she was comfortable throughout this process. When I collected her, she was napping and would've been quite happy to have stayed with you for a while longer. I would like to express my gratitude for this, and how comfortable you made my fur baby during her day with you.

We did not get the chance to return to you for a second grooming as we moved interstate not long after. We are still yet to find a groomer that is as compassionate as you are. Francesca reverted back to her shy, introverted self during any groomers visit post your service. we have had to result to at home grooming for the time being.

I would just like to recognize this, as even a year later we still say "I wish we could take her back to Tracey!" everytime she needs to be groomed. The difference that you made in just one day will last her lifetime. Everytime she enters the groomers I know she is hoping for someone even slightly like yourself.

Dog grooming isn't just a profession, it is a service of love and kindness, and requires a lot of trust between yourself and our fur babies. I hope your business continues to flourish, and if I ever find myself Brisbane bound again, I'm sure Francesca will be at your door in no time!

Nice advice!! We love this idea for your Doggos comfort!

Pro Tip: When you get your new baby home, handle paws, ears, and mouth regularly
Get your puppy used to being touched in sensitive areas (paws, ears, mouth, holding their chin) This helps later when trimming nails, cleaning ears, or brushing teeth and most importantly helps to get your puppy used to being groomed, ensuring a positive and easy life of grooming in front of them:) your groomer will love you for it.

- In your own home basic grooming- only a space/ garage space needed for grooming for your convenience in your own home!
- Clipper seasonal grooms specifically for small to medium breeds.
- Saturday full package with bathing sessions located at The Pawfect Place near Yarrabilba ( 2 weeks in advance pre bookings required)

I’m hopeful to expand my options for you in the future, but for now, I’m here to assist you and your beloved doggos in the best way I can. The Ten Commandments of Dog Ownership
1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very hard and painful for me. Remember that before you adopt me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Please be patient with me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well being.
4. Do not be angry with me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you!
6. Talk to me, even if I do not understand your words, I understand your voice when it is speaking to me. You only have to look at my tail!
7. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it!
8. Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you. (DON'T HIT YOUR DOG!)
9. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I am in pain or sick, or my heart might be getting weak and I cannot tell you.
10 Take care of me when I get old, you too will grow old someday.
Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, “I can’t bear to watch it” or, “let it happen in my absence.” Everything is easier for me if you are there.
