At Doggo Lingo Flagstone , I’m now offering dedicated one-on-one grooming sessions designed especially for nervous, anxious and separation-sensitive doggos.

Many doggos who struggle at the groomer aren’t “naughty” — they’re overwhelmed. Loud dryers, multiple dogs, unfamiliar handling and separation from their owners can elevate stress levels and make grooming feel unsafe.

These sessions are designed to support your doggo’s nervous system — not push it.

✨ Single appointment only (no overlapping doggos)
✨ Calm, low-noise environment
✨ Gentle, patient handling
✨ Extra time and breaks as needed
✨ A safe space for trauma-affected doggos

By reducing stimulation and allowing space for regulation, many doggos build confidence over time and begin to feel more secure during grooming.

This is premium, focused care at an affordable rate — because every doggo deserves to feel safe, respected and understood.

Limited spots available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays during school term. Other sessions still offer our special Calm Safe Comfortable service so please let me know your individual needs!

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared photos of our gorgeous local Doggos! 🐶✨

As summer winds down, we’ve had such a mix — our beautiful regulars, some overdue coat resets, and a few lovely new additions to the Doggo Lingo family.

I’m so grateful for the continued support and growing demand in our local community. To help meet this while keeping grooming calm and one-on-one, I now have a trainee volunteer assisting in the salon — which allows me to stay focused on quality care and finishing touches.

Over the coming months, I’ll also be gently streamlining our services and processes to make appointments even more convenient and accessible, while maintaining the individual attention your dogs deserve.

A little reminder 🤎
We can only work with what’s underneath the fluff. If a coat is heavily matted, your dog’s comfort and wellbeing will always come first — even if that means a shorter reset groom instead of a longer “teddy bear” style. Regular maintenance truly makes all the difference.

With bookings filling more consistently, I recommend securing your regular appointments in advance to avoid missing your preferred times.

Doggo Lingo is excited to be adding a new Doggo guru in training at Flagstone! Our services and reputation has focus on Calm Safe Comfortable grooming for your dog. Services are in demand and I warmly welcome our Doggo Guru to support you with fast, convenient, caring and affordable grooming services.

I’m so happy to introduce you all to Shylamaire — but you can call her Shy.

Shy is 23 and beginning her dog grooming journey with us here at Doggo Lingo, and she brings such a calm, grounded energy into the space. From the moment she stepped in, I could see how naturally she connects with dogs.

She recently completed her Certificate III in Training Assistance Dogs with Assistance Dogs Australia, which means she has a beautiful understanding of dog behaviour, gentle handling and building trust — something that fits perfectly with our calm, safe, comfortable philosophy.

Shy has a soft spot for Pitbulls, Dachshunds and Cane Corsos, but truly loves every dog for who they are. Big feelings, shy personalities, bouncy puppies — she meets them all with patience and kindness.

Having Shy assisting means we can continue offering the sought-after one-on-one care Doggo Lingo is known for here in Flagstone, while making sure every doggo feels safe, understood and nurtured.

If you see her in the salon, please say hello — she’s just as lovely with humans as she is with dogs!

🌡️🌧️ Weather Safety Information

At Doggo Lingo, the health and wellbeing of your beautiful doggos — and my own safety — always comes first.

During severe heat warnings, grooming may be postponed or rescheduled. High temperatures can place dogs at risk of heat stress, especially during travel and drying. For everyone’s safety, appointments may be adjusted to cooler times or alternative days.

During heavy rain, storm activity, or flooding, services may also be rescheduled if road conditions, power interruptions, or safety concerns arise.

If an appointment needs to be cancelled or postponed due to a weather event:
• No cancellation fee will apply.
• An alternative booking will be offered as soon as possible.
