We have a medium size recipient mare herd available, and we are anticipating these will be used very quickly. We encourage clients to book their spot early before they run out.

There are 3 proven Stallions standing with us this season for fresh, chilled and frozen AI. If you choose a different stallion for your mare that is no problem, as Maraboon Rural Vet Services is strategically located next to the airport for efficient semen shipping and collection.

🐾✨ A Week of Heartwarming Moments at Maraboon Vet ✨🐾

This week was filled with the little moments that make our days so special 💚

🧓🐶 We started with two very brave ladies—Miss Minnie and Miss Beryl—who came in for surgery and won us over with their wagging tails. Such sweethearts!

🛋️ Felix reminded us all to slow down with a big cuddle session on Kasey’s arms! Just good vibes and warm cuddles.

🎉 In the middle of it all, we paused for a PAWTY!Happy Birthday to our wonderful Dr Ruby! There was laughter and delicious brownies.

🎒🐱 And let’s not forget Bella the Cat, who arrived in serious style in her backpack carrier like a true trendsetter. Nurse Hannah was clearly impressed—and we were too!

Every week brings something new, and we’re so lucky to be part of these stories.

It’s been a tail-wagging week here at Maraboon Vet Surgery! Meet our wonderful featured pets:

💉 Reba was such a brave girl coming in to get her puppy vaccines done with Dr Shona — she handled it like a champ!

👁️ Paris came to us with a sore eye but left with a big smile after some TLC and cuddles from Nurse Charley. She’s feeling so much better now!

🐕‍🦺 Ella was our blood donor hero this week. She was incredibly brave — what a superstar!

🦷 Snow visited for a scale and polish of his teeth. He left with a shiny, fresh smile and lots of cuddles from Nurse Hannah!

We loved spending time with these sweethearts! 💚

🎣 Hooked on Trouble! 🎣

Meet Rita, the sweet little mini dachshund who got herself into a reel mess over the weekend — she swallowed a fishing hook! 😬

Thanks to the quick action of Dr Shona and Dr Emily, x-rays revealed the hook had made it to her stomach. Straight into surgery she went, and we’re thrilled to say it was a complete success! 💪✨

Rita is now safely back at home, feeling much better — and we’re pretty sure she’ll be steering well clear of the tackle box from now on! 🐶💚
