Meet the Black Widow Tetra 🐟
Also known as the Black Skirt Tetra, this schooling fish is a popular choice for community aquariums.
Black Widows are natural omnivores, feeding on small crustaceans, insects, and worms, but they’ll also happily enjoy pellets, crumble, and flake food.
With their peaceful nature, they’re perfect for tropical community tanks and can also adapt to cold-water setups. Hardy and adaptable, they’re an excellent choice for first-time aquarists.
Like all tetras, we recommend you keep them in a school of 6 or more.
