Just arrived and brand new @ Aztec Aquarium

Terracotta creations - I have a few of these lovely terracotta urns with Anubias. These plants are mature, established and already flowering on these urns and will make a fantastic centrepiece to any small or medium sized aquarium. 🍀🍀🍀

Lots of lovely little Mystery Snails available at Aztec Aquarium including Gold and Magenta.

Mystery snails require both male and female to breed with the female laying a pink egg cocoon just above the water line. The eggs hatch within a couple of weeks of laying but high humidity will speed up the hatching process.

Why are they called Mystery Snails? I have no idea…..perhaps that’s the mystery? 🐌🐌

Freeze dried Blackworm cubes are now back in stock at Aztec Aquarium.

Because these are freeze dried rather than frozen, they provide far better value, far better nutrition with virtually zero moisture content. Unfortunately, you’re paying for mostly water with many of the frozen food varieties.

Fish LOVE them! Simply stick a cube or two to the inside glass of your aquarium and watch the frenzy unfold. Suitable for almost all fish species.

Anubias are a hardy, thick leaf and low light plant that belong to a group of plants called epiphites. Other plants in this group include Java Fern and Bucephelandra.

Epiphites grow above the substrate line, fused to a piece of wood or rock. They also flower regularly.

If you’re looking for a centrepiece for your aquarium, pop in and I can help you choose just the right piece of driftwood, just the right Anubias and voilà- your aquarium is transformed lickety split! I’m here to help.

A new shipment of plants has just arrived 🍀🍀🍀

Together with close to 100 submersed bunches, XL Anubias Barteri are back in stock. These plants are HUGE and would make an excellent centrepiece attached to a piece of wood or rock.

Tissue culture HC Cuba and Anubias Nana Petite are also available for those of you that prefer to use TC’s.

Lots of Dwarf Saggitaria pots are also available.

Hockey Stick Tetra are back in stock - these are a lovely little schooling Tetra, primarily mid to top dwellers that are docile and perfect as an addition to the community aquarium.

3 stunning Salamander male Betta have also arrived - complete with white lipstick!

The ‘oddball’ for the week - XXL Spiny Eels are now available- all from 15cm with the largest being around the 30cm mark - chunkers!
