Sorry everyone — we’ve been flat out expanding our algae grow-out space, and our breeding project is finally starting to show results.

A fresh batch of Nannochloropsis (Nanno) and rotifers was delivered Thursday afternoon. We’re currently out of Tetraselmis, but we’re working to restock it as soon as possible.

Well, that’s a wrap—another year done and a new one begins. It’s been a year of plenty of ups and downs, and we truly appreciate everyone who’s supported us along the way.

As we head into the new year, we’re excited to bring you a few new products and some great updates. Our Sexy Shrimp breeding program has had another successful settlement (9 made it through), and we’ve also had a fresh batch hatch straight into our custom larval tank. Fingers crossed we’ve ironed out the kinks—hopefully you’ll start seeing these captive-bred beauties in your local shops soon.

Behind the scenes, our 3D printers, CNC router, and laser engraver are nearly ready to go (printing available by request). We’ve also been deep in design work and coding as we develop some new, never-before-seen products for our amazing followers and customers.

We’ll also be branching lightly into freshwater this year, and we’re looking forward to sharing more as those plans take shape.

🚀 Green Tide Aquatics is Expanding into light CAD Design & 3D Printing

We’re excited to share that Green Tide Aquatics is now offering basic CAD design and 3D printing services, starting out by request only. Over time, we’ll be rolling out a range of 3D printed products to complement our marine aquaculture range.

A huge thank you to Motion Australia for trusting us with our very first offical 3D printing project. While it wasn’t aquarium related (or even close!), we were more than happy to help and help we did! This first collaboration resulted in an incredible order of 1000 pieces.

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned for updates as we dive into the world of custom design and 3D printing.

From tanks to tech – if you can dream it, we can design it.
