So proud of in her first 120m this weekend at Boneo. Feeling pumped for her first long format at this week! We better stop calling her the ‘young horse’ !!

Thank you to Narelle McFee who sent me this start list for the 1999 long format roads and tracks.

Wonder where everyone is now

Every year, at nearly every major event I report on, there’s Tiana Coudray – plugging away, producing her horses, a smile on her face and head groom and business partner Annabelle James by her side.

How has it been a whole year ?! The queen strutting at badders, moments we’ll never forget ❤️❤️❤️ Currently in full prep...

No matter which event is on your bucket list, it's important to remember that the big shows (ANY show, really) go far beyond the four- and two-legged stars. The team of people working behind the scenes is nearly innumerable, and while they may not splash on the headlines or be passing through the mixed zone for interviews, they matter just as much.

The view below comes from broadcaster John Kyle, who took us for a peek behind the scenes at Kentucky this past weekend. This view comes from the control box, where multiple officials, veterinarians and volunteers are tasked with watching every corner of that cross country course like a hawk. With horse welfare paramount and safety always at the top of mind, it's no small feat to ensure response is at the ready. We'd like to say thank you to all of the individuals who work so hard without much in the way of recognition. We see you, and we appreciate you!

Over the last two weekends something remarkable took place. I’ve been in the sport a long time and I don’t believe it’s ever occurred before .
Over the last 10 days five Grand Prix horses that were produced and trained by Charlotte Dujardin have competed with their new riders, including the reigning Olympic gold medalist , the current world number one and a young rider . Times Kismet and Imhotop in Austria, Freestyle and Gio in Hagen and Alive and Kicking in Mannheim .All riders from different countries with different training systems , different goals and different stages of their careers ……. But the thing they all had in common was their original trainer and that they all finished in the top of their respective fields.
I’m sure I’m not the only one to notice this……but it was a young girl with integrity, respect and humility that said it first .
I salute you Rose Oatley🤗to acknowledge the one who has put the hard work in before you shows great character.
It is certainly a wonderful talent to produce such beautiful horses so well and have them go on to all their new partners in such a successful way.
Congratulations Charlotte ….. you should be so proud.
