This little bundle of cuteness, Ely, came into care one morning when a wonderful member of the public came across his deceased mother in the centre of a road. After removing his mother to a safe place off the road, she called for directions on how to remove the joey from the pouch. She did an excellent first-time job wrapping him up and keeping him warm. He weighed in at just over 400g. With around-the-clock care, he is now thriving. I can't stress enough, people, please take the time to check pouches, taking care for your own safety, or make a phone call to a rescue centre. You may just save a life.

Its GREAT when the greater ARC family all step in.

Jensen, son of our secretary, went all the way to Melbourne to collect the donations of yummy dog and cat food including treats for Australian Animal Rescue Inc.
We were able to share the haul with other rescues in NE Vic which was much appreciated.
