This beautiful girl is Venus and she is ready for her forever home. She has been de-sexed, had her teeth cleaned and has spent some time in our house learning the ropes of pet life. She is a little timid when she first meets people but once you have earned her trust, she has a lot of love to give. She is little dog friendly and has been tested with cats once. On that occasion she completely ignored the cat so we will assume she is at least cat tolerant. She is two years old and the most beautiful girl inside and out. On Saturday morning we attended Mornington Dog Club's Greyhound socialisation class with Lainey (never raced) and Venus (raced a couple of times as Fawn Fire). Neither girl had encountered any dogs other than greyhounds or really being handled by anyone other than us. Lainey decided class was boring and decided to lie down for a snooze mid class but then went for a walk with a small fluffy and basically ignored him the whole time. Venus was handled by someone who was a complete stranger and showed absolutely no interest in any other dog but was polite in her greetings and interactions with people and dogs.

Classes like these are hard to come by, but will definitely be something we do regularly with any of our retired dogs. It's a safe, controlled environment (the white fluffy is very well trained and used to being around unruly young greyhounds!) where there is no food offered and all dogs are rewarded with love! Both girls are wearing a harness to allow me to have better control (I was also pushing a pram!) and muzzles as we were unsure how they would react to being surrounded by so many dogs.

These two girls are looking for their forever home and we will continue their socialisation through dog club and Greyhound walks until they find the perfect home.

Ursula (Gotham Sorceress) finally broke her maiden today and then Titan (Gotham Thanos) won later to give us a double at Ballarat today. Been a while since we have had a double. Very proud of them both! Video of Ursula's win is below.

Hello my name is Shelby, but you can call me Wiggles!
I adore people of all ages 👱‍♀️🧔‍♀️👶👧 (in the comments is a video of one of my all time favourite tiny humans!) and I have also met some small dogs I didn't mind.
I did retire from racing after breaking my hock which has been surgically repaired by the amazing team at Sandown Vet but I do still walk with the occasional limp. I have started taking joint supplements to prevent arthritis and will be sent to my forever home with a full bottle plus a code to receive them at half price for the rest of my life!
I am currently living as the only dog in my trainers house and I think I prefer this kind of life. As long as I have several couches and beds to choose from, I am happy! I'm happy to snuggle with you but I'm also ok to be left home if you need to go to work.
I have only met one cat, he was a bit boring so I ignored him. I may be cat tolerant depending on the cat 🐈😺

I am living in Devon Meadows and will not be rehomed interstate.

Our beautiful Luna (Gotham Marquess) is now available for adoption through Racing 2 Re-home.

Luna is a stickler for manners and can be a little shy until you’ve been properly introduced. Once the formalities are out of the way, she’s ready to play and shower you with affection 💜

Luna suits a home with children over 10 and a secure yard for her daily zoomies. While she’s calm and beautifully behaved indoors, she absolutely loves a zoom or two each day. She prefers adult company but enjoys adventures — first to the car, first at the gate, and happily relaxing on her mat while you grab a coffee ☕️

She’s enjoyed Greyhound Walks, lived both solo and with other greyhounds, and would be happy with a calm canine friend to lounge with. When left alone, she’s content snoozing until you return.

Overall, Luna is a fit, happy and very loving girl who knows how to balance good manners with joyful energy. 🐾

This beautiful girl is Gabby. She is a tiny 23kg beauty who has no interest in racing (DOB 21/02/2024). She has been de-sexed, had her teeth cleaned and is ready to find her forever couch. She is excellent inside, is little dog friendly and is at least cat tolerant if not cat friendly. She loves nothing more than sitting beside you and wants to be your partner in whatever you're up to. Titan (Gotham Thanos) was last night the first of Indy's (Gotham Baroness) litter to win a race. He broke his leg as a 4 month old puppy and we never expected that he would be the first to win a race. He tries his absolute hardest at the track and we are very proud of him. Video below.

Not sure Riley (our former boy Gojek) who was rehomed to Karen Wheeler and Kelsey Wheeler 5 years ago could get any closer to our son Austin and Kelsey here. Greyhounds really do make the best pets. So much love to give!

First of Flo's (Amazonian Queen) litter to win a race Jasper (Miss My Brother) got the job done at Ballarat today. He missed the start but made up for it with a mid race burst to get to the front and punched it out well on a very wet track. Well done Jasper. Hopefully first of many. Video below.
