We have some really exciting news here at TriColby Cobs, there is lots happening! My beautiful boy, Knox, grew a little taller than I’d hoped so wasn’t going to be suitable for my smaller Ants mares going forward and unfortunately was returned home sooner than I’d anticipated. As the fates would have it, not long after, I was given an unexpected offer enabling me to continue my breeding plans with the bloodline I’ve long admired. We are really pleased to welcome MP Queen Tabitha. Abby is from fully imported bloodlines, her sire is the lovely Indian River (IMP) and her dam is the stunning Brackenhill Tumblelina (IMP) who I’ve adored since she was a foal with James Taylor. And to really top off this lovely mare joining our stud she is confirmed in foal to Glyndower Brea The White Wolf, the young cremello stallion by The Arctic Wolf Des Le’gendes Celtiques (IMP) out of Coates Sienna Sunrise (IMP) another more I simply adore. I have very high hopes for this foal with this combination of bloodlines, excellent conformation and sweet temperaments behind it. Everything crossed Bub stays small enough for our stud but either way will be an amazing foal with the bonus of great colour opportunities. Abby has a standing date with Ants going forwards and can’t wait to see if we get weeny black nosed silver babies. ❤️🥰❤️. We are very appreciative to Crystal and her staff for starting Abby under saddle and looking after her for the last few weeks. She is such a gentle, kind mare and going so well.
Abby’s beautiful daughter, Pepperberry Princess Pumpkin is also visiting for a while to have a date or two with Ants before returning home to her new mummy at Wehalla Park. Pumpkin is by Killmurray Red Devil (IMP) and hides a sneaky silver gene as well. She is beautifully put together, super sweet little girl with the addition of being a weeny bubba and her exceptional back breeding. Just a HUGE thank you to Julia McDougall from Pepperberry Gypsy Cobs for making it all possible, I absolutely adore Rocky’s babies, he produces such beautiful sensible kids and thanks again to Crystal from Wehalla Park for allowing Pumpkin to visit with us as well. Finally, my lovely filly, TriColby Storm Queen of Galway by TriColby Harlequin of Galway out of Pure Meadows Storm Chaser has arrived home, almost 10 months old, what a sweetheart she is. She is very bold and confident leading the way as they all went for a walk around the property, Crystal did a great job raising her ❤️
Meanwhile we say goodbye to Pip, DJ and Eddy who are heading down south, Wally is going back home, and my darling JJ is going for a holiday to visit Crystal’s boys and see her paddock buddies, Penny and Summer. I will miss my babies but can’t wait to see Eddy and JJ start under saddle. How exciting!
