Wandilla Farm and Equine Services Western Downs spelling, regenerative farming, hay & mineral mixes. Equine podiotherapy & nutrition"

Kylie and her partner Jono operate Wandilla Farm and Equine Services. We offers services in barefoot trimming, equine nutrition, hay and chaff supplies, custom mineral mixes and equine supplements. Kylie has a special interest in horses with PPID (Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction - Cushings Disease) and EMS (Equine Metabolic Syndrome). We aim for optimum health in our horses via nutrition - m

ineral balanced diet, herd turnout and regular trimming and bodywork if required. We grow own hay and source hay locally for the varying nutritional requirements for our horses. Our hay is tested through Equi-Analytical or Dairy One in the USA which provides a foundation for custom mineral and nutritional supplementation. We offer services in hay coring/testing and balancing diets for optimal nutrition. We are passionate about our horse's hooves and trim on a 3-4 week cycle depending on growth/wear and pathologies/deformities. Our horses have come to us with varying degrees of hoof deformities and pathologies including, acute and chronic laminitis, chronic founder, club feet, hoof cracks and seedy toe to name a few. We are passionate about rehabilitation and are more than happy to work with other professionals including vets, farriers, bodyworkers/therapists and other modalities....it's all about what can help the horse! I am a qualified equine podiotherapist (barefoot trimmer) having studied through the Australian College of Equine Podiotherapy in Victoria and have been trimming for seven years. Based on the teachings of Dr Eleanor I compound minerals particularly copper, zinc and salt for my clients focusing on overall health of the horse. Currently completing my studies with:

Congratulations Kylie on your achievements! I met Kylie at The Equine Collective and was blown away by the connection between her and her horse. It was an absolute pleasure to watch them both :)

The biggest congratulations goes to Kylie for her outstanding performances at the Invictus Germany Sports Festival 2026!

🥈Endurance rowing
🥈Table tennis
🥈Sitting volleyball

Persistence and hard work definitely paid off over the last few months. Considering Kylie mainly participates in Para Dressage and wheelchair basketball, her determination to make things work and learn new tasks is impressive. It’s been really fun to be a small part of her allied health team, along side Tom from

Well done Kylie! 🇦🇺

I'm often asked why we resect for seedy toe.

Here is a great video explaining why.

Who's enjoying this stunning day?

I consider winter a time of respite for our horses where they aren't bothered by bugs, they get to calm down with stomping of feet and whipping of tails.

For us humans, it's a time to get outside and spend some time either playing, riding or exercising our horses in ways that fit into our schedule. Whether that be inhand work or riding....the options for any form of movement are there.

Consider winter a time to improve yours and your horse's fitness. Any form of movement for us all is only beneficial.

What are you doing with your horses on this stunning winter's day?

Pic of our sponsored rider Jess, doing her favourite thing...jumping :-)
