Fear-Free Puppy Training

If you’ve got a new puppy arriving soon (or already at home), this is a great time to get started. Those early weeks make a big difference, and beginning training straight away helps build confidence, good habits, and a really positive foundation before any tricky behaviours have a chance to settle in.

Puppy classes are held in both Croydon and Wantirna, giving you flexibility to choose a location that suits you.

All classes with Smart Choice Dog Training are run by a nationally accredited dog behaviour and training consultant, so you can feel confident you’re getting the right support from the start.

Most puppies have their first vaccination around 8 weeks, which means you don’t need to wait to begin. Classes are held on sterilised floors, so your puppy can learn safely while you both build important skills together.

Look at this beautiful loose lead walking and engagement from our Foundation Plus teams.

It’s so lovely watching these pups and their guardians learning to work together with more connection, focus, and confidence each week. You should all feel really proud of yourselves.

Our Confidence Builder Program is only held when requested, and it has been so lovely watching these three anxious little pups slowly become more comfortable and confident week by week. Watching them grow in self-assurance is incredibly rewarding.

A huge congratulations to Murphy, Juno and Remi, along with their wonderful humans, for trusting us to help their little pups feel safer and more comfortable in the world around them. We are so pleased with how much they have each progressed in classes and, reportedly, out in the big wide world too!
