Specialising in Freshwater, Plants and Invertebrates (Shrimps and Snails) We don't do Saltwater However the hobby started a very long time for me (1983). I have always had a passion for Technology and Fish and I have always seen that you can learn any subject from this hobby. I hope that the shop would inspire you into seeing new possibilities and new insights. NTA is also an early adopter of tech

nology and we have a strong background in Technology. The founders of NTA is passionate of growing our brand but we will always like to grow our brand with like minded businesses and like minded people. Freshly harvested this afternoon and ready for tomorrow.

Most people see a bag of salad.

Fishkeepers see aquarium plants.

One of the things many people don't realise is that a lot of the plants at Nano Tanks Australia are grown right here before being trimmed, sorted and prepared for sale.

A good day today.

With Chris' help, we moved the final major tanks and IBC systems from home to Nano Tanks Australia.

The 6ft display tank is now at the shop and the IBCs will eventually become part of our future goldfish systems.

After a few hours of lifting, loading and unloading, it was time for lunch.

Running a small business is never a solo effort. Grateful for good friends who are willing to lend a hand.

One more step forward.

💡 Small improvements behind the scenes at Nano Tanks Australia.

Today we installed additional lighting over our aquatic plant section.

While many aquarium plants can survive under basic lighting, providing consistent light helps keep them healthier, stronger and in better condition before they make their way into customers' aquariums.

It's one of those jobs most people won't notice, but it's part of our ongoing effort to improve our holding systems and provide the best possible environment for our plants and livestock.

Our Apistogramma macmasteri pair has successfully produced a batch of fry.

This is always an exciting milestone for us, as it means we'll soon be able to offer our own home-bred stock rather than relying solely on incoming shipments.

The fry are still very young and have a lot of growing to do, but if all goes well, we expect them to be available in the coming months.

We'll continue to share updates as they develop and grow.
