Sydney Royal Easter Show 2026
A Moment of Gratitude, Joy & Pride
September 2025 delivered a moment I will treasure forever: an invitation to judge the Show Ponies and Junior Equestrian Showcase at the 2026 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
When Leonie called, I was profoundly honored, beyond excited, and elated.
My appointment, I had the privilege of judging exceptional exhibits and competitors, the winners and placings were a testament to the beauty, breeding, capability and heart of our discipline.
My champion line ups were ponies I would be honored to welcome into my own stable.
This appointment with the Royal Agricultural Society at Sydney Royal Easter Show stands among the most meaningful experiences of my life.
From the moment I stepped onto the Showgrounds, my βhappy placeβ and favourite past time, I felt the rhythm of the main arena and the rings, but to my surprise the real magic unfolded behind the scenes.
The tradition, the honor, the prestige and most of all the warmth and camaraderie shared by the Councilors, Stewards, staff, and volunteers, left me truly aweβinspired. Just Wow!
Conversations about how their RAS journeys began and the aspirations that guide them were endlessly invigorating and affirming. We spoke with care about the future of our equestrian sports, about improvements and how to move forward, always keeping integrity front and center, leaving no room for gossip or negativity. The equestrian world remains strong because of the people who nurture it with love, honor and tireless effort.
My deepest gratitude goes to the Royal Agricultural Society for the invitation, and to the Counsellors, Ringmaster, Stewards, and the Horse Section for turning this experience into a forever lasting memory. I was treated like royalty.
Iβm so very grateful to my parents and close friends for their unwavering support, making this opportunity possible.
Looking after Charlie, Spencer, the entire team of horses, dogs, and chickens, for their steadfast care while I was away.
It truly takes a village, I am endlessly grateful for the beautiful people who care so deeply about me, stepping up without hesitation.
A special note of heartfelt thanks to Tracy Mac creating my masterpiece millenary pieces.
Nina, for tailoring my outfits, bringing the vision to life.
Joh, the amazing hair creator who helped me feel like the best version of myself each day!
Im home sweet home so β¦ Back to boots, breeches, helmet hair & horse sweat!
My beautiful photos are by Lisa Gordon.
