Australia’s beloved koala could vanish from parts of Eastern Australia by 2050 without urgent action.

Chlamydia is the disease affecting this species’ survival and patients like Shanti are suffering.

Shanti was admitted to Currumbin Wildlife Hospital earlier this year.

You can see Shanti’s eyes are red and swollen, classic symptoms of conjunctivitis and chlamydia.

Over 450 koalas have been vaccinated through the hospital's Chlamydia Vaccine Research Program, but they rely on support to continue.

By contributing to their upcoming Koala Rehabilitation Exercise Enclosure, we’re helping koalas recover faster, build strength, and safely return to the wild.
