When Shane Ackerly, invited us to follow him along for the day to see what is involved in getting a horse ready for the show ring - we were so excited!
From the early morning start (5:30am in this case) to the meticulous grooming, plaiting and prepping - there is so much hard work that goes on behind the scenes (and this does not even begin to show all the work & training that goes in before show day)!

On this day - Qantas came away a well-deserved Champion 🏆 - which was the perfect ending to an awesome day.

A big Thank you to Shane for letting us tag along for the day and showing us, just some, of what is involved in getting a horse into the ring on showday.
