Today we said goodbye to Slasher. I can't tell you how much this dog changed my life. I really had no idea how much she would. A scared little puppy, I can't believe how kind and trusting she became. By learning how to help her, she really made me a better person. I get to help others. This Monday a client took some photos of us, and I am so grateful. I hope she's digging the best hole wherever she is, hunting rabbits, resting in the sun, with an endless supply of wine corks. 💔

Hey everyone, a different post for my page that is very sad.
Unfortunately one of my lovely long time customers is in palliative care.
Her gorgeous dogs
Jack/ Maltese shihtzu 10 years
Bell/ foxy x Jack Russell 8 years

Are in search of a forever home together. This is very sudden and their mums wish is to get them organised and cared for together quickly.
I am just the middle man here trying to help a customer in need and will be contacting MAAW shelter when they open Monday for advice.
Their mum is worried of them going to a shelter while waiting for adoption, that they’ll be scared and missing her.
They’ve always been inside dogs, by her side loved and cared for and are toilet trained.
If anyone has a home to offer please message me and we can sort out a meet and greet where I’m happy to attend and help in any ways possible.

What did we notice? Why did we film it?

Sako started barking way more than usual and this twitch may give us a sign to why. After spotting this twitch at Growly Dog Club, we’re gonna chat with our vet team to check if she accidentally hurt herself while being silly with her siblings. Being sore can make her way more sensitive to the environment, which for Sako, means yelling about it. Record video for your vets, it helps!

PPS. I can help! I love the teenage terrors and have a couple spots for day training left - regular spots can make a huge difference and take some of the chaos off your plate - Daisy is a real testament to that, she a smart kid.

Hey! I posted this on a FB group and realised I haven’t introduced myself for a while. I’m Alex! I like puzzling behaviour problems, adhd friendly training solutions, building irl dog communities, and not making you feel bad for cancelling if you’re sick. My current fave thing is taking your terrible teen out for walk and trains to give you a break and help meet their needs, and teaching people that going slow will make things go way faster in the long run. 💚

I’ve got some space to take on a couple day training clients - I’m back after my body fell apart summer and I couldn’t work as much due to the heatwaves. TBH, dogs didn’t wanna either. Let me take your dog out and get some beans out in the right ways, and add those skills in there while having a good time. Perfect if you’re too overwhelmed, frustrated, busy, sick, tired.

I'm so proud of my first assistance dog team with passing their PAT! Team Olive has worked so damn hard over the last 12 months, and I am so grateful they trusted me to help them succeed. No matter what silly homework challenge I threw their way. The dedication, practice, and a bit of trust the process has really paid off. Celebrate Team Olive with me 'cause they deserve it!

Remember and ignore assistance dogs (or really, most dogs out and about.)
