What an incredible Sunday at the ANCATS 29th Anniversary Show!

We couldn't be prouder of all of our cats, who represented Obsidian Maine C***s beautifully and exceeded all of our expectations.

MONSTER BIG RED absolutely stole the show at just his second outing, taking out Reserve Supreme and Best Entire Kitten in Show. We couldn't be happier with how confidently he presented himself on the bench.

A huge thank you to Fluffyrags Ragdolls and Cherubims for presenting MONSTER STARBURST with an Award for Excellence in Type and Beauty. As you can see, she's absolutely over the moon with her special prize!

Overall, it was an amazing weekend spent with the ANCATS family. Thank you to everyone involved for putting on such a fantastic show. We can't wait for the next one!

What an incredible weekend at the recent ANCATS show!✨

We're so proud to share that two of our entered cats Monster Lavender Bloom and Monster Big Red were awarded Reserve Supreme Exhibit, a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their quality, temperament, and presentation.

A special mention has to go to our 13 week old kitten Monster Big Red, who impressed not only the judges but everyone who met him throughout the day. Despite his young age, he took the busy show environment completely in his stride, showing outstanding confidence on the show bench. From handling to judging, he remained relaxed, curious, and happy to take in all the attention around him.

For us, results are always exciting, but seeing a young kitten display such a calm and confident nature is just as rewarding. It highlights the importance of early socialisation and raising kittens in a busy family environment, helping them grow into well adjusted and self assured companions.
