A harness can look perfectly fine when your dog is standing still.
But walks are not still.
Dogs turn, stop, sniff, pull forward, circle back, and change direction constantly. Thatâs usually when you notice if a harness is shifting, rubbing, or pulling into places it shouldnât.
Next time youâre out, watch what happens when your dog turns. If the gear stays secure without restricting their movement, thatâs a good sign. If it keeps twisting or moving to one side, it might be time to adjust the fit or rethink the setup.
Good gear should work with how your dog actually moves.
