One of our clients has a beautiful young black puss cat that she needs to rehome. Male, desexed vaccinated, litter trained, 2 1/2 years old. Not an easy decision for her but Stormy is not coping with her work travel. Is great with other cats and dogs. Happy to be indoors and is quite playful. Nothing happens around here without the 2IC (aka Casper the kennel cat) supervising but it seems he has two apprentices now, Bobby and Frosty!!! Curiosity will get them one day.

A Dog’s Day Out - What a beautiful day we had. The weather was perfect, the company was wonderful, and our furry friends had a blast.

We are thrilled to share that we raised $613 for Guide Dogs Queensland. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and shared in our day.

First prize in our raffle was won by Mr Rod Ryan, with second prize going to Miss Zoe Pinnock.

A big thank you to Leanne Rutherford who is a woman of many talents, not only does she create beautiful patchwork quilts (you may have seen her work hanging in the kennel office) but she also painted our beautiful signs that were seen throughout the Canine-Ex-Scavenge-Anza Course.

Special mention goes out to our regular boarder Bonde, she lead team Hendry Hurricanes to victory and had a blazing run through the obstacle course.

Think your team has what it takes to conquer the Canine Ex-Scavenge-Anza?

Then gather your hound (or just your humans) and get ready follow the clues, complete the challenges and enjoy the chaos - in the best possible way.

💰 Entry into the day’s activities is just $10 per team!

Need a little pick-me-up before your Sunday morning adventure? No Forks Given coffee van will be on site all day to start your morning off the right way.

Once you complete the course, if you are feeling a little peckish you can support Guide Dogs QLD by grabbing:

Getting to the pointy end of our trip now. Spent the day on safari. Quad bikes and dune buggies in the desert and then to a Bedoin Village and a camel ride. Nothing quite like riding a camel in Egypt!!!

2nd full day in Egypt. Amazing country. Full of sand and artifacts. Cairo is different and the driving (luckily we are bussed everywhere we go) is very inventive. A great few days so far. And, they have good coffee.
