One of our lovely families are moving overseas for work and have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome their beautiful English Cocker Spaniel, Sadie. This is not an easy decision for them. Sadie is a beautiful desexed female, 5 years old, tan in colour. She would love a family with another smaller type dog for company. She thrives with little friends when she stays with us. Have had a few busy days. I am still battling the flu but, at last, I think I might be winning!!! Typically, Arthur hasn't even had a sniffle... Queenstown and Strahan last couple of days. Puffing billy in Queenstown and Gordon River trip in Strahan. The cruise today was a bit drizzly at times but absolutely beautiful.

The views from Mt Wellington are amazing. The wind and cold are next level!!! Had gloves and beanie on but didnt hang around too long although the shelter at the top was great but wholly cow....dont step outside!!! Also did Mt Nelson. Much lower and much more pleasant. Off to Strahan tomorrow. Puffing Billy wilderness train on Thursday and Gordon River cruise on Friday. Stay tuned.

A busy day today. Richmond's Gaol and Australia's oldest bridge then to Pirates Bay. Saw the Tesselated Pavement (naturally formed by winds and waves) Tasman Arch, Devil's Kitchen and the blowhole. After that on to Port Arthur. Saw the memorial for the 35 killed in 1996 and the remains of the cafe. Doesnt seem that long ago but 29 years have passed since. A very historic place for all the wrong reasons.

One of our own cats, Bob (we have 3) resting up as indeed we are now doing, sort of, maybe, perhaps whilst we are traipsing around Tassie for a couple of weeks. We fly out Friday to Launceston for our annual holiday. As such, the kennels/cattery is now closed until Monday, 9th June. See you when we get back.

AND BOB - he will still be relaxing!!
