Last month, Hank and I were lucky enough to win a $50 voucher after entering the Top Dog event at Cazalys Stadium. It certainly would have come in handy, but we both felt there was a better way to use it.

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Nick and James from Lions Assistance Dogs, who are up here delivering a life-changing hearing dog to a member of our community.

Instead of spending the voucher on ourselves, we used it to sniff out treats for their incredible dogs in training. And, of course, Hank took his role as Chief Treat Inspector very seriously, making sure he sniffed out only the very best ones! 🐾

The work these dogs do is truly life-changing, and it was such a privilege to play a tiny part in supporting the next generation of assistance dogs.

Sometimes the greatest gift isn’t what you receive… it’s what you’re able to pass on. 💙

Thank you to everyone who supports Hank and our journey. Because of this amazing community, we’re able to keep paying kindness forward whenever we can.

🚨PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FROM HANK🚨

It is actually ALL about ME!!!!!

Mum was trying to take some nice photos and videos of all the goodies she is bringing to Deaf Festival…

Clearly this situation required immediate intervention.

I made sure that every single item was inspected, rolled on repeatedly, made sure my fur was evenly distributed, and personally added my official “Hank Seal of Approval.” 🐾

Now every sticker, flyer and giveaway has been touched by MY greatness.

You’re welcome.

A few days ago I received the loveliest message from Sam, who was visiting from Melbourne. She’s been following Hank’s journey almost since the beginning and asked if she could meet him.

So Hank and I jumped in the car for a little adventure to Port Douglas! 🌴🐾

Sam and her family are thinking about adopting a Deaf dog and had lots of questions. Moments like these are exactly why we share our journey. Every conversation helps raise awareness, break down misconceptions, and show that Deaf dogs are just as capable, loving, and amazing as any other dog.

We spent a wonderful morning wandering through the markets, chatting, and of course, Hank soaking up all the attention. 💙

Thank you so much for taking the time to meet us today, Sam. Wishing you and your family all the very best on your journey—I’m always here if you have more questions.
