Coconut fun!
With the dry weather, palm fronds & coconuts are falling from the sky!!
Toto & Topaz have been playing most of the afternoon. Lots of fun & no costs involved!

A sweet, gentle, loyal & excellent little mother. Ginger turned 10 today. What else can I say?
Wishing the rest of the Teddy & Monroe litter,[3 boys & 3 girls], a very Happy Birthday. I know they are all in good hands!

I couldn't resist posting this one of Nelson!
Anyone, who knows Nelson, will understand his love of 'investigating'!!
I was cutting up vines & stomping them into the bin, when he came along to 'investigate'.

I've included a couple other old photos of Nelson, showing his investigative skills!

We have recently acquired a dog ramp for Nelson.
He has always loved jumping up & down from his crate, tables, chairs, in fact any thing that is elevated!
Nelson turns 12 in November, so we don't want any mishaps!

We have tried to curtail his habit, but nothing has worked. With the dog ramp, plus a few treats, he has readily accepted the change.
It was no surprise to see Monroe, was the first one up the ramp! All going well, she will be 15 in December.

Mother's Day in Australia. I hope everyone had an enjoyable day.😀

I thought I would show some of our canine mothers with their puppies. These are just random photos of litters over the years. It's a family affair, where grandmothers, aunties etc. all play a role in the upbringing of the new members!😍

The Guide Dog association held a fund raising, Canine Carnival, event at the Cairns City K.C. on Saturday.
Fortunately, the rain stayed away! The CCKC went to an awful lot of effort, to make this event successful.
Bunji, was a wonderful ambassador for our breed at this event. She also did a obedience workout, which was quite acceptable!

The CCKC also held Scent Work competitions, in the evenings.
Arnie excelled in the first evening, with a qualification & 1st place in Advanced Exterior. He was 10 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor! A very speedy little boy!😍

It is National Bull Terrier Day!
I must admit, I wasn't aware of this special day, until recent years!!😀

We attended the first shows for the year, over the weekend, for the
Northern Tropics Kennel Club. Previously known as the Mareeba & District K.C.
The venue was the Fred Moule Pavillion, in the Cairns Showgrounds. Being undercover was ideal with the weather conditions.
The committee are to be congratulated on their efforts & hard work, to make the shows such a success.

Topaz has gained her Championship Title, pending Dogs Qld. She is a very enthusiastic girl & loved every minute of the weekend!!😂
